With 2 private entrances it’s perfect for 2 couples, families of 4-7, North House Folk School students, artists, or North Shore adventurers who either want two self-contained units or one larger shared space. Situated on 3 acres of secluded birch, aspen, cedar and fir, it’s 1.5 miles away from downtown Grand Marais yet tucked away in the tranquility and privacy of the North Woods.Though the house is in the Grand Marais city limits and close to downtown, it is completely secluded and quiet. It is a quarter mile drive down a private gravel road off Highway 61 at the western edge of town. The newly completed paved bike trail to Cut Face Creek, and paved bike path into town, are at the top of Ravenwood Road. Up Yonder at the Harbor Light is across the street from the turn-off, and Putt ‘n Pets minigolf is next door.
