Clean with easy access. The hotel has an old world style, but is still modern in the rooms. Walkable to marina.

It was a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. Rooms were clean, stocked with essentials, and nice decor. Bed and linen were comfortable, which usually I do not find nice in a majority of hotels. Great parking up front, elevators were right by the front door. Breakfast was about as good as a hotel can get. It is a block from 12th street, where a lot of shops/bars are located. Overall I would highly recommend.

Beautiful hotel with rich history- we loved all the original antique details found in the lobby. Breakfast at Hampton’s never disappoint. The staff were very kind and friendly. Rooms were updated, spacious, and very clean! Probably the cleanest looking room I’ve stayed in, in a long time. Very quiet while we stayed, as well. My family and I enjoyed our stay very much, and would visit again!

Wonderful experience. Staff was friendly and helpful, properly was clean and beautifully decorated for the holidays, several breakfast options, enjoyed the Saturday market and local restaurants. Pier 22 and Oak and Stone had great food and breathtaking views. Definitely recommend!

The hotel is well maintained and fully equipped with the most comfortable rooms. Beds and pillows are very comfortable. Location is very convenient, few blocks of everything in downtown. Complementary breakfast is very good.

My poor rating is: I stayed 3 nights for o er $1000. It was during a very cold snap and my room was in the low 60s and the heat and Auto did not work on the thermostat so the room stayed low 60s all night which I was not prepared for. First night was sleepless and cold and maintenance came to the room twice stating they fixed the thermostat but it was not. Second night was again super cold, uncomfortable, and sleepless, and maintenance is not available when I realize the issue at 11 o’clock at night. so after two nights of sleeplessness due to the cold, I spoke to the manager after I sent him an email and he offered to have it fixed again which I had no faith in after the two failed attempts or to switch my room. Since it was the third night, and I had comfortably moved into the room, and the weather was warmer, I declined the offer to move. The gym literally laughed at me. Other staff was fantastic and helpful. The lobby was decorated beautifully for Christmas. Two of three breakfast were fantastic. The towels were super stiff and uncomfortable, I would never have them in my own home, so expected a bit nicer Than sandpaper at a hotel at that cost. Location and proximity to the Riverwalk, which was hosting a blues festival was also fantastic and walkable. Having stayed at this line of hotels previously and absolutely been nothing but satisfied. This was an incredibly expensive and disappointing experience.
