A decent and charming hotel! But my experience was a mixed bag! We chose it for its beautiful location, and the view from our suite window was indeed stunning. The front desk staff were very pleasant!
As soon as we checked into our room, I decided to sit on a chair on our balcony and fell off it because the leg was rotten and the chair collapsed. It's clear no one is maintaining the furniture. Of course, they replaced it with another one, but the impression was already spoiled.
Slippers and a bathrobe were missing. There was also no complimentary water in the room, although there was a coffee machine and tea. But what's the point if there's no water to make them with?
Another big downside was the noisy ventilation system in the room, which couldn't be turned off on the entire 7th floor, and my husband couldn't sleep because of it. He woke up at 3 AM, called reception, and asked them to somehow fix the issue, but they told him it couldn't be turned off. He then asked for earplugs, but they didn't have any either. So he couldn't sleep properly for the rest of the night. Considering we were only staying there for one night, it was really depressing!
On the plus side: there was a great rooftop restaurant and bar at the top of the hotel, and we really enjoyed that spot. We recommend spending time there at sunset.
And this hotel is dog-friendly.
