Alton Apartments

A big big disappointment. Multiple issues with the provider: - He never picks on the phone, my more than a dozen calls were unanswered - He messaged me about 2 hrs prior to the check-in and said that he has upgraded to a new place, which I never asked. I double-checked by asking if it was a better upgrade and he said yes. He sent me a new address where I reached using google maps. It was very far away from my desired place. - MORE of that, the new place was very substandard from every aspect. Therefore I messaged the provider that I don't like this one and I want to go to the previous property. - He messaged saying he mistakenly had a double booking so had to send me to this place. This too is not my problem. - I shared my dissatisfaction and he said he will refund my money therefore I initiated a cancellation request in trip.com but he didn't reply to trip.com too until I asked he to. - He replied to trip.com saying he will only refund for one night while I had paid for 3. I asked why and he said because I cancelled at 7pm. That's because I reached the place at 7pm itself and rejected it straight away. Still not my problem. - Thanks to trip.com for compensating me with trip coins. - The provider is very unprofessional and should not be allowed to host such services. A big big No.

Booked stay at "Alton apartments" on day of arrival they changed the location as they had overbooked the property I booked. So I expected that the property they moved us to would have the same facilities as the one I had booked. I booked a property with free parking as that is what I needed but no free parking was with the new property. Owner very rude and uncaring when contacted. Got a refund after a lot of hassle with the person trying everything they could not to pay back the money!
