Everything and more than needed for our one night stay. Very comfortable large room & bathroom plus use of lounge & garden areas. Great breakfast and friendly host

We had the best time at April Cottage. Such a lovely peaceful place, we only had one night there but feel very nourished and well rested. Steve was very friendly and helpful, and Pat made us a beautiful breakfast. Oat milk was sourced for us at the last minute and we were able to get a bit of toast for supper too. Our five year old loved the garden and there were lots of nature books for him to read and a big corn field to play about in. Cant think of a single thing that wasn't absolutely tip top. Even the bath was the best bath I've ever had. Maybe a little toy box would be nice for kids, but we didnt really need it.

A lovely place to stay. I was visiting numerous places on Somerset, Wiltshire and Dorset and this was a perfect central location to base myself from. A lovely breakfast prepared every morning fuelled me up for the day and the room was a beautiful cosy place to rest my head at night rounded off by beautiful views from the bedroom window. A wonderful place to stay at a fantastic price.

Relaxing and quiet. Able to unwind.
Good breakfast. Spacious room with lovely views. Comfortable bed, soft pillows. Very homely. Steve very attentive. Enjoyed our overnight stay.

Our host was really pleasant. The bed was comfortable and there was a great power shower with plenty of hot water. It may have been a bit cleaner but it is a quirky old cottage. Breakfast was great.
