Super clean rooms, with very comfortable beds and excellent quality linen. The pool now has an enclosure and is also extremely clean. The restaurant is home cooked food and excellent value. Breakfast is well worth it, excellent standard and plentiful. The whole venue is well kept, and set in beautiful surroundings. The hosts work very hard, and we received top customer service. We will absolutely return in future, and brush up on our Spanish in the meantime! Fabulous family business, just wish they did food in the evenings again - best mushroom risotto EVER!!

Spent one night in this hotel as part of a bike tour. It is very comfortable, and recently renovated. The rooms are very spacious. We also had dinner on site. The meal was good. Breakfast also had plenty of options and was plenty to get us ready for a long bike ride.

Fantastic boutique hotel situated in a beautiful setting, with access to hiking trails. The rooms are spacious and like the rest of the hotel, so beautifully decorated and comfortable… The garden seating area and the pool and gardens are a great plus. The staff is incredibly nice and go out of their way to help. Don’t miss the breakfast!

My cousins organized a party for their wedding anniversary in El Montero. They recommended the hotel to me. I had never been to Cantabria. Eli, the owner, welcomed us charmingly and showed us our beautiful room! I was surprised by the newly renovated room, decorated with great taste and with all the comforts. The towels are super fluffy. The room is a very good size and also has a private gallery perfect for reading or relaxing. We slept great and Eli welcomed us with a delicious breakfast. He was there to bring us anything we might need. I thought it was a great value for money. It is very cheap for what they offer. They have an indoor pool that is perfect for relaxing.

Everything is very clean, exceptional service, luxury buffet breakfast, garden, pool and bar area of 10. If you like natural infusions you are in luck, they have almost all of them. Located in an ideal point for excursions in the area, within a radius of a maximum of a couple of hours you are wherever you want, mountains, beach, charming towns, Santander, etc... El mejor hotel donde me he hospedado en mi vida. Un trato familiar, amable y cercano. Una decoración exquisita. Un entorno idílico. Habitación amplia con una cama muy muy cómoda. Un baño amplio, muy limpio y cuidado al detalle. El desayuno buffet de los más extensos que he conocido, ni en grandes hoteles disfrutarás de un desayuno tan variado. Con gran parking gratuito en el establecimiento.

Un refugio de paz acorde a su decoración y sus instalaciones. Acompañando a la belleza de esta casona, está la de su paisaje. La habitación espectacular, la zona de piscina con muchísimo encanto, y la gerente, Lali, simplemente encantadora. Una habitación para tres (nosotros y nuestra hija) con amplitud, estilo, terraza con galería, etc...no falta de nada. Ya nos da pena irnos mañana 😭😭 pero seguro que volveremos
