Surprise by the standards of cleanliness and friendliness of the hotel staff.  First time in the city and the location of the hotel makes a short walk to the nearly by mall and night food street.

I am very satisfied with my experience staying at Qingdao Feiman Hotel. I had stayed in other Feiman hotels before, so I booked a room there, but it seemed that the style of each Feiman hotel was different, and each had its own merits.
The hotel is strategically located in the city center, surrounded by many attractions. It is close to Shichangzhe Beach and there is a shopping mall opposite it, but it is very deserted. The Liqun Shopping Mall near Shichangzhe Beach is still good. The surrounding transportation is convenient and traveling is very easy. The beach can be reached in a few minutes' walk, giving me the opportunity to enjoy the sea breeze and sea view at any time and feel the unique charm of the city of Qingdao.
The environment of Feiman Hotel gives people a warm and comfortable feeling. The hotel's decoration style is simple yet exquisite, with detailed design reflected everywhere.
The hotel has a very good service attitude. All staff members will take the initiative to greet you when they meet you, answer all questions and respond to all requests.
The room facilities are very complete and the layout is very warm. The bed in the room is very soft, and the pillows and quilt are comfortable. They are said to be 0-pressure mattresses and pillows, and they are very comfortable to sleep on. The toiletries in the bathroom are of high quality, and the water temperature and pressure are very stable, which makes people relax.
In addition, the hotel's breakfast is also worth mentioning. During my stay, I tried the hotel's breakfast, which had a wide variety of dishes and tasted very good. There were everything from Western breakfast to Chinese dim sum, satisfying the needs of different tastes.
The only drawback is that the door is not big, not as grand as it looks in the picture.
Overall it was a pleasant stay experience and I will choose to stay here again in the future.

Pros: 
1. Location was great, only few mins walk to major attractions. 
2. Staff are generally helpful but don't speak a lot of English, so need to use a translation app. 
3. Airport transfer is in reasonable price and driver are nice, van is very clean. 

Cons:
When it come to the room and general environment, this is where the problem comes:
1. My room is facing the backstreet, so can hear some noises esp with the car beeping and the good old spitting from someone living opposite the building first thing in the morning.
2. The room aircon is set to 24 degrees no matter how low I tried to turn the aircon to, it can be a bit hot for some. 
3. There are mould in the room and common area which leads to my constant cough and asthma.
4. Have asked to clean room everyday and the cleaner only refill the water, clear the bins but they do not clean the mugs. You have to do it yourself apparently...

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel! The room was clean, modern, and high-tech. The bed was super comfortable, and the bathroom was impressive — the toilet had a heated seat and automatic flush, and the shower had excellent water pressure. The highlight was definitely the AI system, which could control the lights, TV, and radio with simple voice commands.

We also tried the room service — water was delivered right to our door by a robot, which was such a fun surprise! The hotel’s central location made it very convenient, yet it was quiet and peaceful inside. Overall, a great experience and we highly recommend this hotel.
