Good location, malapit sa bus terminals, malapit sa MRT at sa malls. Makakapunta ka agad sa other errands mo without too much walking. Sakto lang ang room for its price.

first time trying this branch of sogo from Edsa Cubao and definitely did not disappoint us! me and my boyfriend already tried the Malate and Quirino branch and it has always been a good experience with them. 

• fast accommodation of the front desk, mabilis nila naayos agad yung room namin even if ang daming tao nung araw na yon. (we booked via online)

• we also love the room na napunta samin, we were assigned sa 6th floor, because 1) very fast wifi like you can download a bunch of movies and it will not even lag im telling you lmao; 2) may netflix premium account (?) sa tv namin HAHA we were able to watch 3 movies and; 3) hot shower !! other rooms kasi from our past experiences with other branch walang hot water haha

• malinis ang room & cr, wala namang odor or something smell ng cockroaches/smokes/fishy, just enough for a clean smell 

overall, we love this branch of sogo! we'll definitely try it again soon.

It's a good place to stay and bond. However they are not punctual when it comes to check ins. We were there at exactly 2 pm and we were given a room 2 45 then they gave us a wrong room and we had to wait again by 3pm then they did not change the check out time even it was their fault. And the parking was so far away, but they have a service so it's okay. Then it's close to fishermall and other fast food chains. But the place was nice and their foods were delicious.

Overall it was an awesone experience. Very accomodating staff, friendly and approachable. Perfect location and amennities are good

It's ok, they take care of the guests. The only thing that wasn't good for me and my companions was that it was a bit hot in the lobby. We waited while they cleaned the room.

Amazing stay that we have, its our first time to checked in a Sogo hotel and its worth with the price plus the cleanliness, services and warmth welcome🥰🥰🙏🙏 highly appreciated all the considerations as we got early checked in beyond the usual but no charges applied. We have a joyful weekend on this place!! Love it!!! SUPERB!! They even gave the upgraded room !🥰🥰💯love,love

Good as usual. Cold room, standard room with cable TV, and hair dryer. 2 towels, blanket was not too thin, there were tissues in the bathroom. The problem was the room had one busted light that kept blinking and turning on even if the switch was off. I never had a ghost at sogo before lol. So take that as you will. Also, hot water is more lukewarm to room temp than hot. And someone from the front desk disturbed my sleep because they put my checkout time wrong. Please double check so you don't wake people up at 2 AM in the morning.

Smoking is supposed to be done outside, but there's a ashtray in the room, and it's just blood.
But I just shot it outside, because I didn't like to smell in the room.

Food is ok. I ate the Sini River and it was okay.
But the price was cheaper than booking on the trip and just getting a room .... 
I remember paying 44,000 won for my standard Deluxe Room. 
I remember the price at the front desk was 1600 pesos. 

Great stay at Sogo Midnanao Ave. I just needed a clean place to spend the night after an engagement at work, and this no-frills hotel fits the bill. The staff are courteous and the room is tidy. There's a 24 hour reception if you want to order fodd. And running hot water too. Would definitely stay here again.

They were pleasant and accommodating. I had a smooth check-in and check-out transaction. The room is nice and clean. Overall, it's a good experience.

I stayed at Hotel Sogo Wood Street in August 2025 for a short layover, chosen for its proximity to Ninoy Aquino International Airport (just 1.2 miles away). The location is ideal for travelers needing a quick stop near the airport.
Check-in was a bit slow, which was frustrating after a long flight. The lack of an elevator to the second-floor Deluxe room was a major hassle, especially with heavy luggage. The narrow metal stairs were difficult to navigate and felt unsafe.
The Deluxe room was spacious and clean, with a decent bed, fresh-smelling sheets, pillows, and towels. The bathroom was clean, and I appreciated the provided toiletries and two bottles of drinking water. Free Wi-Fi worked well, but the TV was old and kept disconnecting from the internet, which was annoying. The air conditioning was a mixed bag—it cooled the room but was positioned on the left wall by the bed, blowing cold air directly on my head. I had to sleep with my head on the footboard to avoid getting a headache. The toilet also had a flushing issue, which was inconvenient.
Overall, it’s a budget-friendly option with a great location for airport travelers, but the lack of an elevator, toilet issues, and poorly placed aircon detracted from the experience. I’d rate it 6.0/10—good for a cheap, short stay, but not ideal if you have heavy luggage or need reliable amenities. I’d consider returning for a quick layover but would hope for fixes to these issues.

The venue,cleanliness and amenities of the room was great but in the mean time the hotel check in took a long time and the front desk staff didn't have a good impression

the hotel served stale rice,when i opened it, it was really smelly...we returned it of course and i told my complaint...
The second thing that happened was about paying the bills for my food because of the slow internet i pay double it thru wallet and bank acct...when i served my complaint,,until now nothing response..🤦🏻♀️

Those wishing to stay near the LRT & MRT shud opt for them. Price wise they are high compared to the room type & standard. Guess they are banging on near to LRT service..

Booked here for an early event in MOA but didn't realized the place is not accessible to public transpo so we had to use grab to go to and from MOA, also kinda far to food establishments, only little food options near. For the place itself, the room is very clean and the location is quiet so we were able to rest before and after the event we attended.

This place is excellent for couple’s vacation. Employees are polite and approachable. Foods are great to as well as the room. Our room have own CR and with window thats why i enjoy having site viewing on streets.

Will book again soon on my next vacation 😊❤️…

We always love SOGO's rooms and amenities. Always ginagawang biro ang SOGO but we can't deny the fact na talagang goods yung service and accommodation nila. Even the food actually, given na mahal lang but we're paying for the experience kasi talaga that's why. Always included ang SOGO talaga sa options when it comes to hotel check-in, friendly pa ng mga naga-assist.

The hotel is located close to a large shopping mall building. There are many gourmet restaurants inside, which is very convenient. The hotel room is not large, but it is acceptable. There is also a good breakfast, lunch and dinner that you can order by phone and have it delivered to the room. The hotel staff are very polite It’s a nice hotel with friendly service attitude…👍👌
