I chose this hotel on Trip.com primarily because of its excellent location, being only about 10 meters from Pingjiang Road, which made getting around very convenient. The front desk service was warm and attentive. What really stood out was the hotel's attention to detail: there were alcohol wipes next to the phone, and the TV remote control was disinfected and placed in a paper sleeve. All in all, this is a hotel worth returning to.

The hotel's location is superb, right within the scenic area of Seven Mile Shantang, requiring a short walk to reach. The entrance plaque is eye-catching, and the name itself is very poetic. Many tourists stop to take photos at the grand entrance. The hotel is the former site of the Gangzhou Guild Hall, established in the 17th year of Emperor Kangxi's reign during the Qing Dynasty. It served as a meeting place for merchants from Xinhui County, Guangdong, who were doing business in Suzhou. As such, the hotel boasts a traditional garden-style layout, offering a tranquil escape amidst the bustling surroundings. The courtyard features stunning landscapes with mountains reflecting in the water and impressive rock formations. Most of the rooms are suites, located in two-story standalone buildings, making them ideal for family trips. We stayed in the Shuxiang Courtyard Villa this time. The room decor perfectly blends ancient Jiangnan charm with modern simplicity, and there's a balcony on the second floor. The room facilities are complete, and the hygiene is impeccable, with L'Occitane toiletries provided. The first floor includes a private courtyard with rockeries, greenery, and a tea set. It was incredibly pleasant to brew a pot of tea and bask in the morning sun there. Additionally, the breakfast selection is diverse and healthy. We'll definitely choose to stay here again on our next visit to Suzhou.

This is definitely a hotel I'd want to stay at again. First, the rooms were clean and had a warm feel. Second, the service was excellent; they genuinely cared about their guests. I checked out around 5 AM, and when I was about to leave my card at the front desk, a young man came over and asked me to wait a moment. He then brought me a bag of food, saying I hadn't had time for breakfast and could eat it on the way. I was so touched; his eyes showed he truly cared for me. Thank you for your kindness! I'll definitely stay at this lovely hotel again next time I visit Zhouzhuang.

The winding path leads to a secluded place, which is a little hidden from the world.
[Service] The front desk staff is enthusiastic and always helps to solve problems with a smile. There are cars to pick us up when we arrive and leave the store, which is very convenient for us with a lot of bags.
[Room] The room can meet the needs of a large family, but the smart control switch in the room is a bit confusing and needs to be explored and adapted; the air conditioning in the room is powerful and the air conditioning is full, so be careful not to catch a cold; the hot spring is great for the whole family to take a bath and play in the water, and the children don’t want to come out to play.
[Three meals] The food is not bad. The 398 yuan set meal ordered for dinner has a few more dishes, and the family is a little full. There are activities on the lawn in the evening, and some barbecue is ordered. Breakfast this time is a buffet, and the variety basically meets the needs of the whole family.
[Play] The hotel has prepared a variety of DIY activities for children, such as making fans and dumplings; the hotel’s own playground allows children to play; the hotel’s path can directly reach the camp without tickets, and kayaking and archery are recommended; the hotel has a small book corner and borrowed a book to read.

Xuntang Shuxiang Hotel has been excellent from the beginning. Soon after booking, the housekeeper will contact in advance to inform the specific location and arrival time. The hotel staff will wait at the entrance of the parking lot. Very considerate and convenient.
Check-in has always been carried by the hotel staff and sent to the room, which is effortless. The hotel is in the ancient town, and it is really comfortable to play in the ancient town if you don't want to move.
I especially thank the housekeeper Feng Yukai for responding to everything. It is a 24-hour service. Inquiries about dining and other issues are also answered in detail. Such service is really worth it and considerate.
The room facilities are very good. I like the toiletries very much. The intelligent facilities are really attractive.
When I come to Wuxi again, I will definitely come to Xuntang Shuxiang again. The delicate work attitude and warm service. Although the time together is limited, who can not love a place with warmth and history that cannot be copied.
