This is a gorgeous apartment/villa style hotel. The villa we stayed in was beautifully decorated with convenient things like a washing machine, dishwasher, and private mini pool. The sinks were rusted, but everything else in the villa was top notch. We did have to request water which they didn’t have at some point and they did lock up a room based on the number of guests which was a bit odd. Its location is good but a little off the main area. There is a free shuttle to town we didn’t use because the timing didn’t work for us. Still, the views and villa were spectacular. Definitely recommend. Giving a special shoutout to Yari at Whisper! She was wonderfully warm, welcoming, and took great care of our family. Our whole family mentioned how genuinely kind she was. To Mirage, you have a amazing person among your staff!

Absolutely, Mirage is the highlight and most wonderful part of our Whitsunday trip. The room with wonderful sea view is fantastic, very clean and quiet, high privacy. I like the balcony so much, watch the ocean and Yacht, quite chill and relaxing. There is a big shopping centre nearby, 10mins walk, coles supermarket there, and can buy everyday dinner to cook. You can also walk along the seaside from the hotel to Coral Sea Dock.

Amazing view! The facilities were very good, but the floor were always a bit wet and not super clean. The location is also quite good, close to a supermarket and some minutes walking to Airlie Beach main street.

Our stay at the Mirage was a fantastic family getaway! The service was great in that staff were friendly, attentive and accommodating. We had an issue with the dryer door, I called the service desk and this was fixed while we were out, and additional towels were provided in the meantime. The resort itself had breathtaking views, clean and spacious apartment, great breakfast which accommodated my vegan diet and was only a 30 minute from Proserpine airport (and although we were at the very end apartment, they transported us there). The 4 star rating for the facilities was because non of the lifts around the resort (not the apartment ones) were working during our visit, so we had to carry our pram up and down flights of stairs to get to the pool, restaurant and the boardwalk. The 4 star rating for the location was because although we had multiple restaurants within walking distance, they were all closed for most of the time that we were there (we stayed Sunday-Thursday). We traveled with our 2.5 month baby and had the most relaxing time; I would highly recommend the Mirage.
