Manor House Inn

A really great place to stay. Many other places charging far more could learn from this place. Great room and shower room. Plenty of sockets in the room and bathroom was well kitted out with a shower that was easy to work and worked well. Staff were all very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfasts were huge and of a really high quality as was the supper. A short but really good menu and excellent wine selection. Great value for money and if you are staying in this area this is the place to stay. Wake up to the sound of the racehorses coming through the village.

What a lovely Somerset village inn. Super-friendly, cosy-feeling heritage pub and restaurant, beautifully refurbished. Comfortable rooms too, with thoughtful touches like fresh milk for hot drinks. Plenty of car parking, and lovely gardens. Overall, excellent. Congrats to Manor House Inn.

Jus5 had a lovely 2 night stay. The staff at The Manor House Inn are all very friendly, helpful and attentive. The food is excellent with a good choice. The Sunday roast is delicious. Will definitely stay here again.

So a 'walk-in'. I think booking advisable. Menu, slightly off the norm, but excellent. Chicken Schnitzel for my girlfriend and veal liver and bacon for me, a couple of puds and beers and wine £108, fair play. We will be back soon.

We stayed at the Manor House Inn when attending a wedding nearby. From the moment we arrived the Manager and staff were welcoming and friendly. Our room was perfect and had lots of extra touches such as fresh milk in a flask (rather than those really annoying jiggers which spill everywhere!) and home baked cookies. The bed was super comfy and the fittings in the room first class. The hotel has recently opened following refurbishment and they have obviously done a great job. Breakfast was well cooked with plenty of choice with good ingredients - well done to the chef and serving staff. Overall a great stay and would love to return if we are ever this way again.

We stayed for two nights at the Manor House Inn in Ditcheat and had an absolutely superb experience from start to finish. The room was spotless, elegantly decorated, and full of charm – with lovely little touches like cookies on arrival that made us feel instantly welcome. The pub itself was vibrant and full of character, with friendly locals who made us feel right at home. The food was excellent – clearly made with care and packed with flavour. We loved sipping Aperol Spritz in the glorious sunshine outside. A real added bonus was seeing the racehorses going past the pub each morning – such a unique and memorable touch that made the stay even more special. A visit to Barbers farm shop is a must to stock up on cheese. What really stood out, though, was the incredible staff. Every single member of the team went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. Nothing was too much trouble, and their warmth and hospitality truly made the difference. Highly recommend this gem of a place – and we’ll 100% be back!
