The guesthouse itself has a comfortable courtyard and rooms. It's not an artificially trendy place, but rather a natural and elegant Chinese aesthetic. The environment is quiet, and the facilities are quite complete, making for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The cleanliness is excellent; the rooms are spotless, giving me peace of mind. The service is also very considerate, not overly intrusive, but attentive when needed, making for a very comfortable overall experience. I also visited Black Dragon Pool and White Dragon Pool this time, and I loved them both. Heqing isn't the kind of place to rush around taking pictures, but it's perfect for those who appreciate tranquility and the Yunnan lifestyle. Those who want to avoid the crowds and truly experience two days there will likely love it.
