I booked a room that was supposed to include welcome fruit, but it wasn't provided upon check-in. I didn't get to experience the afternoon tea, so I can't comment on that. The room size was decent, not small, and had a good wet/dry separation in the bathroom. However, the noise isolation was very poor; I could hear car alarms constantly going off outside my window when trying to sleep, and even the sound of toilets flushing from the next room (or upstairs?). First, the room had a strong odor, and without air conditioning, it wasn't well-ventilated. Second, there was the issue with the water. It was the first time I'd seen a hotel costing over 500 yuan only provide four bottles of mineral water (two large and two small), with extra bottles requiring payment. Moreover, the small bottles had a strong odor; my spouse drank them and experienced vomiting and diarrhea. Thankfully, nothing else happened, and we decided not to pursue the matter further. One bright spot, though, was the hotel's beef noodles at breakfast, which were quite good and authentic.

Stayed at the Junhai Hotel in July, the experience was great! Newly opened in 2023, the facilities are very new, the rooms are clean and tidy, the bedding is comfortable, and the sound insulation is good. Not far from Miragebafo Pavilion, it is convenient to go out and take a taxi and take a bus. There are many types of breakfast, the waiter is enthusiastic, and I will choose this next time I come to Gannan.
