I highly recommend the Wutongshu B&B in Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village! The floor-to-ceiling windows in the room offer direct views of the entire Miao village. During the day, you can gaze down at the terraced stilt houses and mountain mists, and at night, lie back and watch the twinkling lights of countless homes. You get to enjoy stunning views without having to jostle for space at a viewpoint. The owner and housekeeper are exceptionally warm and welcoming. They helped with our luggage in advance, provided thoughtful guidance on travel routes, and even prepared warm tea. Their gentle and enthusiastic hospitality, full of genuine human touch, made our stay comfortable and restorative. This is definitely my top choice for accommodation when visiting Miao Village!

This is a fantastic guesthouse! I don't usually like staying in guesthouses because I always feel the environment and cleanliness are disappointing. This time, however, I wanted to see the night view of the Miao Village, so I had no choice but to stay within the scenic area. I chose two listed guesthouses and compared them before booking Yue She. It certainly didn't disappoint! First, their service was incredibly thoughtful. Even at 9 pm, they sent two staff members to pick us up at the North Gate, help with our luggage, and show us the way. The hotel's exterior is unassuming, but the interior is surprisingly spacious and charming. Sitting on the terrace in my room, I had a panoramic view of the entire Miao Village at night – absolutely amazing! The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable; you could tell the owners had put a lot of thought into it, paying attention to detail. The lovely receptionist was incredibly warm and attentive, the young butler was also very considerate, and the experienced steward truly touched me, helping us carry our largest suitcase up and down the stairs. The breakfast wasn't lavish, but it tasted like home. Overall, I was very satisfied!

This was the most satisfying purchase of our trip!!! My friend and I have said multiple times that if it weren't for our butler, Xiao Ye, in the Miao Village, we would have walked countless unnecessary uphill and downhill paths and stairs!! The room's view is just one small advantage; I think the butler's service is even more worthwhile!! First, the butler came to pick us up at the entrance of the scenic area, and we didn't have to carry our own luggage!! (When staying inside the Miao Village, you don't just get a shuttle bus to your hotel after buying a ticket. There's also a long commercial street where you'd have to drag your luggage up and down hills and stairs – imagine how painful that would be). Secondly, the butler was available throughout our stay. She'd take us wherever we wanted to go, and if we got lost halfway, she'd even guide us via video call!! Only those who have been to Miao Village will understand the value of this service!! (The navigation within the scenic area is inaccurate, often leading to detours, and there are many uphill and downhill paths and stairs). I won't say much about the view; the room's view is already good enough for photos, so you don't need to spend money at a scenic cafe or restaurant just for pictures. If you do want to go, the B&B also provides two free coffee drink coupons! Finally, this is not a shill, not a shill!! I'm truly grateful to Butler Xiao Ye. She even answered our video call in the middle of the night to help us with directions!! As someone who easily gets lost, I was incredibly touched!!

A truly perfect stay! The hotel is located within the scenic area, offering beautiful surroundings and an incredible view. Our room was spotless, thoughtfully laid out, and the bed was so comfortable and relaxing. The staff were very helpful with our luggage, and incredibly warm and patient. Breakfast was served in an area with a fantastic view, and we even had afternoon tea provided – every detail showed how much they cared. The facilities were excellent, and it was lovely to just wander around the hotel grounds in our downtime. It really added a lot of wonderful memories to our trip. Highly recommend, and we'll definitely be back for our next vacation!

Staying here was incredibly comfortable and convenient. Compared to many guesthouses within the village that are situated higher up and require climbing numerous stone steps, this guesthouse, located halfway up the mountain, has a remarkably friendly location. The owner even offered to carry our luggage, saving us the effort, and it was just a few minutes' walk up a gentle stone path, making it easy even with a child. We had barely checked in and recovered from our journey when the front desk staff brought us a box of fresh fruit, which was a really thoughtful touch. The room was spacious, bright, clean, and tidy. The overall design was modern and stylish, the facilities were new, and it even featured smart home appliances. The view from the balcony was absolutely breathtaking, with a unique charm both day and night. The large floor-to-ceiling glass doors offered panoramic views of the outdoors. In the mornings, wisps of smoke from the terraced houses on the hillside gently rose, adding a touch of life to the serene, emerald-green rice paddies. The stilted houses, built against the mountain, were scattered artfully, creating a tranquil and harmonious pastoral scene with the crisscrossing fields. At sunrise, the golden light cascaded over the dark brown wooden houses and lush green rice fields, bathing the entire village in a warm, golden glow, making the scenery even more vibrant and captivating. At night, lights from every household twinkled like scattered stars across the mountains, arranged in neat rows and patterns, resembling strings of beads hanging in the night sky – truly romantic and beautiful. The Miao village answered every expectation with its beauty; we truly experienced the beautiful Xijiang here.

The most delightful surprise in Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village! The room was very clean, and the view was absolutely stunning. You could see the panoramic view of the entire Miao Village right from the window. Plus, there were so many spots perfect for photos, and they even had a bonfire at night.

Xijiang Surprise Mid-Mountain View B&B was a wonderful surprise! The environment is tranquil, surrounded by lush greenery, and the stilt-house design creates such an authentic atmosphere. The panoramic windows in the rooms offer incredible views; you can lie in bed and overlook the entire Miao village. In the evening, the sight of countless lights illuminating the village is breathtaking, and you don't even need to fight the crowds at the scenic viewpoints. What really stood out was the thoughtful hostess. She contacted us in advance to help with our itinerary, assisted us with our luggage upon arrival, and thoroughly explained the local attractions. She even proactively upgraded us to a room with an even better view, free of charge. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, and the communal terrace was perfect for photos. The service was gentle and attentive. With both amazing views and excellent service, staying here in Xijiang was absolutely a fantastic choice!

I highly recommend staying at this guesthouse. The location is absolutely fantastic, both day and night! It's truly the best vantage point in the entire scenic area. Any designated observation decks in the area simply can't compare. The photos and videos I took from my guesthouse balcony turned out amazing. The facilities are excellent, and the environment is exceptionally clean. Most notably, the owner's service attitude is just wonderful. Having visited numerous scenic spots across the country, I consider this to be the number one guesthouse I've ever stayed at.

Views from this hotel is fantastic...accentuated by the river and lights at night. Again, our stays exceeded the HIGH 5 Star ratings.... Ms Chen, Manager of the hotel is EXTREMELY helpful and resourceful in giving valuable suggestions thus making our stay, a delightful vacation. Well done, Ms Chen, an original Miao native and her efficient team, Ms Wu and others. Wonderful staff, including housekeeping... I couldn’t be happier with this hotel! Every staff member was incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and truly enjoyed our stay. Before we even arrived, they gave us multiple transportation options to reach the North Gate, where visitors purchase tickets to enter the village. They then met us at the gate, helped us buy our tickets, stored our larger luggage, and guided us through the village to our homestay. They even carried our smaller bags all the way to our room. Along the way, they encouraged me to participate in the village’s traditional welcoming ceremony and treated us to a delicious bowl of noodle soup since we hadn’t eaten yet. What really made this stay unforgettable was that they became our personal tour guide for the day. The tour was educational, fun, and perfectly paced for us. This was a special mother-and-son trip, and my son couldn’t stop talking about how exceptional the service was. Out of our multi-city journey through China, this may have been our favorite stop. To top it all off, they arranged our Didi to the train station and personally escorted us back to the North Gate when it was time to leave. Xiao Guanji and A Rui, you are simply the best! Thank you for making our trip so memorable. We’ll never forget your kindness and hospitality!
