The hotel is located in Fengcheng, Wa Mountain, and the night view is very beautiful at night. Although the hotel is on the main road, it is not noisy. My room has a separate bathtub. At first I was worried about the hygiene, but the hotel directly provided a disposable bathtub cover, so I can take a bath without worry. It was too late to drive to the Wengding primitive tribe scenic area, and the scenic area was closed. The scenic area was remote and we could only choose to stay in the Wa family homestay. The owner of Hailong Wa family was warm and hospitable, the hygiene was good, the environment was good, and it was close to the scenic area. We could see the sunset from the terrace, and we could also see the current life of the Wa people. They still retained their traditional living habits. It was worth the trip. The boss's chicken is also delicious.

The only night I stayed through Ctrip on this Yunnan trip turned out to be surprisingly bad. First, the price was significantly higher than what I found on other platforms that day. Second, even with low occupancy, a five-star hotel should at least provide basic service, right? Aside from the two girls at the front desk and the restaurant staff at breakfast, who were somewhat polite, there wasn't a single person in the concierge department. These days, can't you survive without any platform? 👎 Also, the intense recommendations on Xiaohongshu (Little Red Book) need to be analyzed rationally; in smaller towns, staying in a central location is definitely the better option.

This is a fabulous hotel. It is very grand and of another earlier era in decor. The room was huge huge with lovely glossy timber finished wardrobes and trimmings, The water was hot and had good pressure. The hotel reception were friendly and super helpful. They use an offsite local buffet restaurant for their customers which was just around the corner a bit and the food was basic but good. My Chinese wife liked the food. Our booking included breakfast but they actually gave us a second set of vouchers per day for either lunch or dinner. Note the restaurant is not open for dinner Sunday. Plenty of parking here also and 3 wheel motorbike taxis just outside on the road to get you to where you are going. Thanks for a lovely stay :)
