I came to Xiangyang on a business trip. I was tired. When I entered the lobby, I was infected by the warm smile at the front desk. I was in a good mood for more than half of the time. Because we wanted to see the birds flying over Poyang Lake, and the travel guides said that Wunian Island in the Poyang Lake Grassland was more worthwhile than the Poyang Lake Wetland Park (no entrance fee, only a 50 yuan ferry fee for self-driving cars, passengers in the car are free), we booked this hotel. The scenery along the way from the hotel to the road was quite nice. Although the hotel looked like a farmhouse, the room was nicely decorated and had hotel-like amenities, somewhere in between. The landlady was very welcoming and easy to talk to, so we got an upgrade to our room. We were worried about not having enough food on the grassland, so we told the landlady, and she brought us steamed buns for breakfast (actually, there was food inside Changxing Village). Overall, it was a reasonably priced and affordable hotel.
