Charente-Maritime Hotels with Breakfast

A bit far from the center (20 minutes walk). Excellent breakfasts (with oysters and champagne (not sparkling or cremant))! The rooms are clean, the staff is very friendly! We were there out of season, it rained a lot, so the umbrellas at the reception were very useful.

All right , may be a can cheap but otherwise very good , excellent breakfast ! Nobody has a really sympathetic reception!

I really like this hotel, the location is perfect for the old town, with shops, bars, cafes etc within a few metres walk. The main transport square is only maybe 50m away, with lots of buses and bikes. It’s such a cool vibe inside the hotel, like 70’s style. Very friendly staff, very good value. The breakfast is ok, like a continental selection, nothing hot (apart from boiled eggs) but it’s fine. I’m on the second floor and here is a slight fan type noise all the time, it’s quieter as you go down each floor, but I’ve slept well. The veranda is a little grubby, as is the central outdoor area, but everything else is immaculate. Don’t expect that perfect modern hotel look, the bathroom for example looks “dated” but that’s the point - it’s really clean and looks so cool and homely, not like all the usual modern hotels that have no character. Good selection of books downstairs. I really like the place, originally booked 3 nights but extended that to just over a week which says something. Only marked 3 for Services as there’s not much else other than rooms, a chill out area and the breakfast room, so don’t expect spas/pools etc

Je n'en veux pas spécialement a l hôtel mais sur l'application trip la chambre mis en avant lors de la réservation n'étais pas du tout celle que l'on a eu. L image etais lumineuse avec de grande fenêtres nous avons eu droit a la chambre lowcoste qui donne sur le toit. Un lit pas du tout confortable digne d'un hôtel F1. Déçus. A 450 euros pour 4 nuits donc 110 euros la nuit j aurais pris un ibis si j'avais su. Le seul avantage l endroit proche du centre ville et de la gare. Sinon le personnel si vous lisez ceci sachez que nous vous avons trouver tous adorables et d une politesse sans nom. Je vous salut et vous souhaite réussite.

Good location close to the beach. Cleanliness and overall impression of the room and the terrasse could be improved. The apartment has seen better times and is in need for some renovation. On hot days and nights the AC in the apartment is not working properly for the bedroom on the first floor. The hotel and pool area is mainly suitable for families with small children and not for couples without children.

Very clean but compact toilet and shower. Best deal for the price. Mind that the hotel name is changed to Hotel Eco and there are person at the reception after 9pm. My entry card stopped working on a night after 9pm. When I called them, they asked me to go to the adjacent hotel (hotel comfort). I had to go there to resolver the problem.

Excellent, friendly and very clean hotel. Great size bedroom and bathroom. I stayed solo but room very good for two people compared to others I've stayed in. The hostess, possibly proprietor was so pleasant, always busy and obviously keeps standards high. There are two buses from the station and get off at Theatre then it's a short walk. The main road leading to hotel is quite steep especially with luggage.

Excellently located right at the Marina district and views of the very large Ferris Wheel. 5 mins walk to the central cafe precinct and boutique shopping strips. Pathways are very well lit. The area and wider Le Rochelle is a very safe place. The Motel is close to the Buzz of it all.

Very calm location near town center, car rental and train station. The room seemed clean, but as you are responsible for washing the dishes ( machine provided) you never know what the previous guest did. Reception is not open 24/24: it closes even for lunch, so pay attention to your arriving time.

The lady on reception during check in was very sweet, very pleasant exchange.  The room was incredibly hot and stuffy, unfortunately no AC. Breakfast was superb. Hotel is old and tired but fully functional.  Also the washing service did not work (hence 2/5 for facilities) - it charged me via the app - a very expensive €6.50 and then it claimed to be out if service!
