The hotel was completely renovated in 2023 with contemporary decoration. The Best Western Metz Centre Gare is located 100 meters from Metz train station in the city center, Centre Pompidou, and the congress center Robert Schumann. The location is just perfect!
This three-star hotel will offer you comfort, convenience, and tranquility.
The hotel has three room categories from a standard room to a deluxe. The difference between those rooms will be the size of the bedding and the size of the room. All our rooms have high-speed Wi-Fi, air-conditioning, a coffee machine, and a television with Canal +.
The breakfast will be served under an American buffet with local products.
We offer a snacking selection with the offer BOCO and you may enjoy a local drink at the bar.
At the Best Western Metz Centre Gare, the front desk is open 24 hours. The team will be happy to assist you with your request.
"The location is in front of the station, so it's very convenient for getting to and from the station. You can walk to most destinations in the city in about 20 minutes, and there are delicious cafes nearby. The city center is about a 15-minute walk away, but it's not that far, so it's convenient to stay in front of the station. The staff were all friendly, and I recommend it if you're coming to Metz.
However, the bathroom was a bit of a problem. There was no curtain in the shower room, and there were almost no steps, so the shower water would flow into the bathroom no matter what you did. I managed to get by with a bath mat, but it was difficult to use, so if there is a room that doesn't have that, I would choose that and stay there again next time."

Indeed, even a super welcome cannot raise the note.
I had the smallest room? The 505 to be precise.
The hotel is clean, near the station, breakfast quite right, but this does not justify by this high price for a person.
The room with lights very white makes this latter anxiety, lift from bed and you find your nose in front of the door. To crown all it's cold.
It was rather disappointed by this hotel.

I like this small hotel in Europe, located in the most core place, small door, small stairs, small room, but everywhere is history, is warm, is style, this is Europe ⋯• So travel in Europe usually book two hotels, One is the castle manor hotel far from the town, the other is a small hotel in the center of the town, but there is also pain, that is, there is an elevator in the wood, you need to climb the old narrow stairs with your own suitcase, but is this not something you need to feel during the trip...

I had a fantastic stay here! The location is absolutely perfect right in the heart of the city, making it incredibly convenient to walk around for shopping and exploring the best local eateries. The room was spotless and well-maintained. I especially loved the spacious bathroom and the super comfortable bed, which ensured a great night's sleep. Everything Highly recommended for anyone looking for convenience and comfort!

Anonymous UserWe were there as a family passing through. The rooms are a bit dated, but extremely clean. The location is absolutely central. The service is very friendly. I needed an extra blanket, which I received immediately. The breakfast is excellent. There's a wide selection.

The location is very good. It is just about 300 metres from the train station. From my apartment (217), I had a view of moving trains as the property is located close to the rail lines. It is just in the centre of Metz City, close to supermarkets such as Carrefour, Match and the rest.
The facilities worked very well throughout my stay with the exception of the heater in my room. I improvised with the heater in the rest room. The interior is very neat though the exterior can be better.
The staff mind their business but assisted when approached. I asked for an extension of 2 hours beyond the checkout time to relax before the scheduled time of my train to Paris and it was approved without stress.

Very happy with my stay. The room was nice, spacious witha balcony. Hotel is located in the middle of a forest park. Also there is a nice gastro restaurant just next to it. The hotel has a peaceful and calming vibe. The breakfast was good as well. After checking out, I could work in their lobby where thereare several sofas and free coffee, croissants and tea. They also have a nice terrasse outside. This area has a lot of activities especially if you are looking for a getaway or little holidays. I was there for a business trip. Would definitely come back for a little getaway.

We booked for a double roome with 2 beds, it is a very small room (yes, I knew this in advance) but since we only stayed for 1 night only. that was fine.
If we have two big suitcases and we need to unfold both, we need to find our own arrangements. Anyhow, in general, the breakfast service was good! The reception desk was very kind and helpful.
The location of the hotel is not far from city center, located in a very quite place for living habitats I think. I give 4.5 / 5 points.

This hotel has a great location, at the center of the city where there is a lot of restaurants. The hotel itself is clean, the staff is friendly the rooms are quite spacious. I was there for a business travel, but I think it's a convenient place for holiday travellers who want to visit the city. Also you are very close to Luxembourg, just about 20min ride away by car.

Guest Userby late arrival easy to miss the elevator activation procedure (press activate & call- to connect with reception) and you have to climb up to the 6th floor.
Next hussle the payment of 75€ deposit for the room payable by credit card but no amex 🙈🙈🙈 So it wasnt possible as with my german debit card it never worked in france too 🙈🙈
Finally after messaging the boss n waiting his reply it was possible to pay cash for the deposit…..and dont forget you are in france so tourist tax have to be paid as well 🙈😬😬
lets see how the breakfast will be tomorrow morning.
clean room but no fridge, glasses or any nice complimentries/ greenery in the steril room.
