"The hotel's location is fantastic, right by the sea, just a five-minute walk away. The front desk service is excellent. There's a kitchen and fridge available for guests to cook, and you need a room card to enter and exit. There's also a water refilling station in the lobby, which even passersby can use. "The location was very satisfactory, very close to the beach, and the staff were friendly. However, due to ongoing renovations, the elevator was not yet available, and the bathroom locks could not be fully closed, causing some inconvenience. Overall, the price was very cheap and acceptable."

Great
GGuest UserI recently stayed at this hotel to celebrate my 40th birthday and had a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made me feel very welcome, and the check-in team kindly offered complimentary drinks for my son and me.
I was delighted to find a bottle of red wine and a lovely birthday card waiting in the room, which made the celebration extra special. The room was beautiful with a stunning sea view, and I really enjoyed the coffee selection. The breakfast area was excellent, and the lounge was perfect for relaxing with a drink.
They truly made my birthday special. All the staff and the concierge team were lovely . I would definitely recommend this hotel and will return for sure.
Thank you, the Grand Hotel.
TTaroSuper cute hotel, only minutes away from the beach. Quiet place slightly further out from the busy bars but close enough to walk. Lovely staff really chatty and helpful. Offered places to go and visit. We would highly recommend it and Would be more than happy to go back again

Title: -----Welcome to UK 2026đŹđ§----- My first hotel in the UK, where I stayed for seven consecutive nights.
Overall Rating: Very Satisfied!
Location: âââââ
Perfect location for commuters travelling between cities. A left turn out of the hotel and up a big staircase leads directly to the train station. Much more convenient than the Hilton I stayed at last time (the Hilton was by the sea, less than a five-minute walk away đ). Itâs also just a ten-minute walk to LANE (the bustling area). Quite niceđ€ (walked there and back for dinner every night).
Breakfast đł: âââââ
Everything was delicious, except for the baked beans, which are unique to the UK and which I didn't try. The croissants đ„ were very flaky and multi-layered, almost crumbling as soon as you picked them up. The hash browns were my favorite; I ate them every morning. They had both full-fat and skimmed milk to meet different needs. Breakfast started at 6:30 AM every day, and I often went down before it even opened (I guess I'm making up for all the hardships I didn't experience back home).
Room Facilities: âââââ
The kitchen facilities were quite comprehensive, with a dishwasher, microwave, and induction hob. The bed was comfortable.
Service: âââââ
Very good! One Sunday morning, I had an early train to catch and wouldn't have time for breakfast. The staff told me the night before to just grab something from the vending cabinet next to the front desk for breakfast. It was free! I felt a bit embarrassed and only took one Ferrero Rocher, but the staff said that wasn't enough. Then they told me 'this is good' and 'that is good', so... I took about P10 worth of items! đ
Soundproofing: âââââ
There's a small road downstairs, but I didn't hear any traffic noise while sleeping. In the mornings, I'd hear seagulls (Brighton has so many large seagulls, it's a bit romantic đ„°).
Tips:
No toothpaste or toothbrush; you can buy them downstairs for ÂŁ5.5 (about 50 RMB đ ).
No free bottled water; a bottle downstairs is ÂŁ2+ (about 20 RMB đ ).
Highly recommended (because I can expense all of the above đ)!
Oh, and don't forget that what we call the first floor in the UK is the ground floor (I didn't quite get that when I first arrived).
JJK meThe room was clean, modern, and comfortable, with everything I needed for a short stay. The bed was especially cozy, and the space was well-organized. Although the room wasnât very large, it felt practical and suitable for a solo traveler or a couple.
The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, always ready to assist with any questions. Check-in and check-out were quick and smooth.
Bed is quite small for twin bed. Overall, it was perfect
GGuest UserA stay with my adult daughter for passing her Degree. Her 1st time in Brighton. At a lucky request gave me a partial sea view which was in fact excellent large room, comfy bed a with a gorgeous bay with full view sun. All staff were attentive, friendly and inclusive.
Thereâs a real charm and nostalgic atmosphere about the old building that is on the beach front enabling Breakfast to see the sea. The only reason I have not given a 5 star đ is due to some signs of wear and tear / dated chairs although they were comfy and snug. Thanks to all Queens staff we will be back
GGuest UserThe room was modern and clean and the staff were friendly but the best bit about this hotel is the location - on the seafront and close to shops bars and restaurants.
The spa area was a bit disappointing, itâs more a leisure centre and very busy when we visited so donât expect too much relaxation as there are not even loungers to sit/lie on.
We didnât eat breakfast in the hotel as there are many great restaurants in Brighton so I cannot comment on the brekkie.
We attended the NYE dinner/dance at the hotel and it was brilliant! Great entertainment, lovely food - a fabulous time had by all and a lovely way to see in 2026!
Brighton in general is a lovely place to visit, lots of bars, restaurants and shops - especially the Lanes which is full of small independents which are just fab!
Thereâs lots to do and see! We took a short walk from the hotel to the i360 tower. A great way to see Brighton from the sky and we managed to catch it at sunset - so magical! I would definitely recommend!
GGuest UserVery nice and clean, roomy, convenient if you are visiting the Brighton centre for concerts and close to the beach apparently. Warmly welcomed at the reception and was offered all the help I needed. Sure to stay with them next time I visit! (If you needed to call a taxi you could just ask at the reception. WiFi password is in the room. Plenty of teabags and coffee sachets, got hairdryer, kettle)
GGuest UserWe had a very pleasant stay at the Holiday Inn Brighton. The room was spacious, clean, and tidy, and housekeeping refreshed it every day, which we really appreciated. The service was outstanding â the staff genuinely make an effort to ensure their guests are comfortable and well looked after.
We had a small request regarding the kettle in our room, as the original one had a bit of limescale build-up. The front desk handled the issue immediately and even went above and beyond by providing a brand-new kettle. This level of responsiveness really impressed us.
The only minor downside is that our room was connected to the neighbouring room through a shared internal door. Although it was locked on both sides, the sound insulation was not as strong.
Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would gladly return. Friendly service and great comfort!
GGuest UserOn the pricey end of hotels in Brighton, the room very simple and old fashioned.
No real complaints staff are very friendly. Getting the bags to the room is difficulty so I wouldn't recommend to someone with reduced mobility.
But overall great view and nice staff.
GGuest UserWe had a nice experience in this hotel ..The location is a calm and serene area opposite to the park ..Hence it can be used for a stroll..Incase you are not using a car ,bus connectivity is very good to beach and near by attractions..The room is spacious and we got 3 beds for a family of four and the heater was also provided ..Tehe morning buffet was sumptuous with many options to chose from. Only drawback I felt is with respect to the bathroom ,wish they would have provided a set of shampoos in addition to the shower gel..Also the lock of bathroom was not working properly ,wish they correct it soon..Overall would definitely come back in future ...
