Hamilton Hotels with Breakfast

Although the Badger was a motel that was jet lag behind the plane in a hurry, it left me a very good impression. A converted private country villa with an elegant environment. On the highway side, the entrance is small and difficult to find, and it is a bit noisy. The room decoration is relatively simple.

Hotel/Motel that goes the extra mile. Lots of extras. We stayed in a King Spa Room. Very comfortable bed and pillows. High quality linen. Real coffee and a coffee press in the room. Reclining chairs to watch TV. Quiet at night. Located outside of the main downtown area, but a short drive by car. Friendly hosts. Would definitely recommend this motel.

The hotel is about 2.5km from the Hamilton train station. We took a taxi from the train station, and the driver charged us NZD25. My booking confirmation said that the check out time was 11:00, but the hotel insisted it should be 10:00 which is fine. The booking confirmation clearly say that breakfast was free, but the hotel tried to charge 13 pp. Hamilton is a nice place which is close to Waitomo and Hobbiton.

The room was too new; the hotel seems to be run by Indians, as the decor still had a slight odor. Just for your reference, thanks! ☺️

Nice room and location. The place is wide and clean. Parking space is good too
