Beautiful historic building with a newly built building behind it. In the centre, 10 minutes walk from the station. Fully nice people at the reception. Prima breakfast and included a small buffet s evening. Very handy and delicious. The whole day by coffee and tea and waffles between 15 and 17 hours. It's called the Home Hotel and you feel like that!

The place used as a prison since 100 years ago has been closed and remodeled in the 1990s and is being used as a hotel.
The single room was the same space as the prison in the past, and the bed was set with clean bedding and slept well.
But the bathrooms and toilets were public.
Like a hostel, we provided a shared kitchen so we could eat salads and ramen bought at the ICA late.

Lovely place to stay. We were there in February. -22⁰C outside, cosy inside. Clean room with large window. Breakfast buffet was excellent

Cissi18Bra hotell, älskar temat, historian och personalen, speciellt killen som heter Johan. Stället var i centrum, därmed bekvämt och mysigt var det.
Frukosten var helt okej, allt var jättegott men det saknades bacon och kokta ägg, något som brukar finnas på hotellfrukost.. men annars var det jättebra!!
Om jag åker till Umeå igen kommer jag utan tvekan boka detta hotell!!

Room facilities were OK. There was a stick and in the bathroom there were calcium traces in the shower. Otherwise everything was good
