We spent a few days at this family resort with our 2-year-old daughter. We were impressed by how everything is really centered around kids and it makes the holiday much more relaxing for parents! The hotel has many indoor and outdoor facilities for kids, so you never get bored and there's plenty to do on a rainy day. They also organise different activities every day. The location is stunning and very easy to reach by car. We had the best time and will definitely be back!

Just got back from a week at Feuerstein with our 18 month old daughter and it was one of the most enjoyable holidays we’ve ever had. We picked this resort in part due to the 70 hrs of childcare which catered to under 2s and while the standard of care was excellent, we barely used it as there was so much amazing stuff to keep us busy as a family. With kids and adult spas, multiple (amazing) play areas, a mini farm, outdoor playgrounds a sports hall and loads of family friendly spaces we had no trouble finding fun things to do every day. That’s before you step out of the hotel ground and into the beautiful valley in which the hotel is situated. The hotel offers good quality carriers and off road buggies, both of which we used to do some gentle hiking with our daughter. You can get to some beautiful mountain spots pretty easily, just 10-15 walk from the hotel. We stayed in an Alpenjade suite, which was incredibly spacious and had jaw dropping views of the surrounding mountains. The suites are close to lots fun stuff for tiny kids (play barn, mini playroom, sports hall, outdoor playground) and are really quiet, so would definitely recommend them from anyone wanting a bit more space, away from the main hotel building. Food is a huge part of the experience and we had a lovely time eating together. The food is good and the menu pretty varied, more importantly there were stacks of great options for our daughter, which meant happier mealtimes for everyone! All the food is included, but we did end up spending a small fortune on drinks (including a few bottles of truly delicious bottles of wine after some gentle upselling from their excellent sommeliers). Most guests seemed to drive there, especially from nearby countries, but we flew into Innsbruck and took a hotel-arranged transfer, which was straightforward but quite expensive. If you’re planning ahead, looking at taxi alternatives could be a good idea. Overall, it’s a beautifully-designed resort for families, especially with small kids. There’s enough to do that the days fly by, the service is excellent and both kids and adults have plenty of their own space. We will return.

One of the best properties we've been to as a family. We spent 2 nights there but we'll be back for many more. Our kids loved the property and didn't want to leave. My daughter woke up on the day of checkout saying - "Papa, can we spend a few more days here." In all the trips we've taken this is the first emotion that didn't require any prompting for me. It speaks wonders on how the team has built the property. The website doesn't do justice to how well this property is built and maintained. They have a barn (a 3 storey "nature" play house for kids), a massive outdoor play area, woodwork, painting, bread-making and many other activities through the day for kids. They have 3-4 swimming pools, 2 water slides, a sports arena, a mud room, a ninja room, horse riding, a petting farm, places to hike around - some amazing e-bikes (to rent). They organised a magic show one evening that our kids thoroughly enjoyed. The spa rooms and family saunas, snooze room, etc. was lovely too. They also organised a parent padel tennis tournament which we thoroughly enjoyed. The service was excellent and the team was very warm and cooperative. Vegetarian food could have been better but I've communicated my feedback with the team and they've proactively made note of it. If I were to visit again - we'd love to stay here for 5-7 days and that would feel like a 2-week holiday in terms of "feeling relaxed."

This resort is thoughtfully designed for families and their needs. The resort is a masterclass in hospitality, wellness, and family-centered luxury. Everything here is done intention and sparks childlike wonder. THIS is what a family vacation is supposed to feel like. The daily activities for children (both structured and unstructured) are grounded in nature, creativity, and independence. There’s no plastic, no screens, just wildflower bouquets, mud kitchens, and pure joy. The panoramic infinity pool and "action pool" with waterslides is beautifully maintained. You are invited to relaxa or play, depending on your pace. We’ve stayed at“family resorts” before, but Feuerstein is in a class of its own.

Nestled in beautiful surroundings, this hotel feels like it was crafted by someone who truly loves children and understands their joys! The design caters to kids’ delight at every turn, making fun accessible everywhere. The rooms are a hit with the little ones, featuring cozy, wooden bunk beds they adore, alongside uniquely shaped mattresses for parents where kids can play or snuggle in. The property boasts a farm and stables with lovely, clean infrastructure, adding to the family-friendly vibe. My experienced daughters had a fantastic time during their professional and kind horse riding classes. The hotel is impeccably clean and well-organized, supported by excellent staff service. My daughters raved about the food, especially the buffet’s thoughtful setup, which, as I mentioned, is clearly tailored to make kids fall in love with the place! They offer a wide range of activities for children, both indoor and outdoor. The pools are spacious, never feeling crowded, and come with thoughtful amenities like pool flip-flops in case you forget yours. The spa is pleasant, though my massage didn’t feel up to a high standard—it was adequate but unremarkable. The menu for adults could use improvement; we’d love some fine dining options too! That said, the wine menu is impressive, with a delightful presentation and tasting options that stand out. The lobby bar features a great bartender—possibly German, maybe named Alex (though I can’t recall exactly), which is a pity—whose skill adds a nice touch to the experience.

We loved the Feuerstein! Booked it as a bit of a splurge weekend with my family (two children ages 2.5 and 15 months) for Easter and my birthday for four nights. We checked out nearly every amenity the hotel had to offer because it was just so fun to explore there. We had a ton of rain but could still enjoy the location and time because of all the activities organized by the hotel. I can only confirm that it looks just like the photos. Everything is connected underground. You can see and schedule all activities in their mobile web app. If something is full just go anyway and see because a lot of people were no shows. The resort was fully booked but never felt too full or busy. I assume this due to the expansiveness of the resort versus number of guests. I also loved having our designated breakfast table and dinner table (lunch was open seating) and the same waitress each night. We ended up eating starters with the kids, putting them to bed, and coming back to enjoy the rest of the 5-course menu - Deborah was open to accommodating whatever situation we needed. There were just so many cool details like the family restrooms with kids toilets, the low hand rails for littles, the outlet covers in the rooms, just all these aspects that highlighted this place keeps families at the forefront of their minds. The only „complaints“ I have are that there was no conditioner provided in the shower. I know this is common in Europe, but still felt like it fell short for a 5 star resort. The second was the default provided pillows were so flat - can’t imagine anyone likes these? But they did have a pillow menu with other options, which we used on the remaining nights. I only wish there were more hotels at this standard of offering luxury to the adults and children.

This was our second time at the Feuerstein, and the whole experience far exceeded our best expectations! The hotel is wonderful, a paradise for children and families. Endless activities, spotless facilities, incredible spa and pools, delicious food, everything you need to relax and enjoy time with your family. Location is breathtaking, and there's plenty to do around the area in terms of hiking and biking, even without having a car. But what really makes this place stand apart is the staff; every person we interacted with was not only really, really good at their job, but they also seemed to genuinely love what they do - the reception staff, housekeeping team, kitchen, the spa (I got two massages by Diana and I felt like a new person after!), the sauna, gym and fitness classes (Marco's classes were challenging and fun, he's incredibly knowledgeable and gave me so many great advices), and of course the incredible childcare team; our child loved going to the kids club, everyone knew her by name and they organised so many fun activities during our stay, from face-painting to pony riding and visiting the farm. We wouldn't hesitate to trust them with our child, they were really like magic fairies. Finally, a special mention goes to Giuseppe, who has been taking care of us every evening for dinner - my husband has a gluten intolerance and Giuseppe was an absolute superstar, he would check the menu personally ahead of dinner service every single day and discuss options and variations directly with the chefs; his wine suggestions were always on point and he knows how to deal with small children also as he was tailoring the service based on if we were eating all together or only the adults. We were looking forward to dinner every day and were so sad to say goodbye; my husband said it was years he didn't enjoy gluten-free meals like the ones he had there. Thank you so much!

We had an amazing time at Feuerstein, they catered to every single need not just for the kids but also for adults, we loved the longer sauna nights that we as adults could use for some downtime. The food is amazing, they even had a special gluten free menu for me, which was very much appreciated! The fact that there are so many indoor options for the kids make this a great all year destination sun, rain, snow, you will have things to do. We will definitely return!
