The structure is beautiful, clean, with an international feel. The superior room is large, very clean, the beds are very comfortable, huge TV, large wardrobe with iron and ironing board, spacious safe. I liked the lighting with even a reading light. There is a kettle with a choice of coffee and tea. The bathroom has a very large shower with a rain shower head that I appreciate. There were no bathrobes and slippers but the towels were very soft. Large and professional hairdryer always excellent for women with long hair. The room is well soundproofed and the carpet in the corridors does not allow you to hear the sound of footsteps. The air conditioning in the room can be programmed independently and works very well. The breakfast room also includes an outdoor space. The choice between sweet and savory is good. The croissants are very good, the scrambled eggs among the best I have ever eaten, cooked in an excellent way. Unfortunately I happened to be there on the day of the women's Giro d'Italia, and since the hotel was hosting some teams, having breakfast after the riders had passed left the dining room full of tables to clear and the buffet quite empty... it was refilled but very slowly. However, the choice and quality of the products allows for a good breakfast.
A plus of the hotel is the free internal guarded parking and the wonderful swimming pool, large with many deckchairs and a lifeguard present. It is open from 11 to 20, both the pool and the area around it are very clean, it's just a shame that the water is cold.
I asked for a late checkout and they gave it to me without paying anything. On this aspect, however, I must report an unpleasant disservice. The rooms must be vacated by 12, I could have stayed until 14. But at 11.30 the girl knocked to clean (before the usual checkout time!) and I told her my departure time. At 12.35 another girl knocked telling me that I had to go out, and I also told her that I could stay until 2. At 1.10 the phone rang and they asked me to leave the room and at 1.20 they knocked on the door again. At that point I left. I really didn't like this total lack of communication between the reception and the floor maids, just as I don't accept that in a 4-star hotel the reception is used informally (I called the day before my arrival for a communication and the person who answered me used informally and it was very approximate). I don't care about the "you" itself, I'm not a snob, but it's a serious fall in style for a Hilton. In conclusion my ratings are:
Structure, general cleanliness and furnishings: 9
Reception (welcome, communication): 6
Breakfast: 8
Pool: 8.5
Location: far from the center but with two metro stops 100 meters away. Here the rating is subjective.
Would I go back? Absolutely yes and I'm already planning to do so with a group of friends.
