The environment is really good. The mountains and plains are covered with red, yellow and green colors. This is it. The golf course looks like an oil painting when photographed.
However, such an expensive hotel does not include breakfast. There is only a buffet breakfast for 28 and there is not much to eat. I mainly eat fruits. The dinner at 1902 restaurant tastes good but is very expensive. They don’t even provide bread before the meal. They still have to buy it for 6 US dollars.
I stayed in so many hotels this time, and this is the only one that has a bellman to help deliver luggage to the room because the elevator is too small.
The tour that introduced the hotel was really good. The tour was supposed to be one hour, but the tour lasted an hour and a half.
The service at the front desk was very poor. When I checked in, I was asked to swipe my credit card for a pre-authorization deposit. After eating two meals, I thought it was deducted from the deposit. I called the bank and said it was two pre-authorizations and one was credited to US$253 (meal fee). It’s a few dollars more than the deposit) It’s another pre-authorization for POS machine consumption that hasn’t been released yet. I don’t know what kind of trick this is. I only stayed for one night and two pre-authorizations were deducted from me. How did I use POS for the second deposit? The card machine didn't ask me for my credit card when I checked out.

Not kid friendly. Omni kids, critters were all closed. One main restaurant, very limited vegan or vegetarian options Same food options(3) for children across all restaurants. No activities per se. outdoor pool was said to be heated but staff declined to heat it for multiple families. Overpriced rooms with limited service. Main hotel rooms have thin walls, staff did not enforce quiet hours. Pony rides and gondola rides were good. Average overall.

I love the majesty and history of this grand hotel. Inside and out, this hotel is breathtaking. The food was good but expensive ($24 for a BLT!!). The staff was top notch. My biggest complaint is that the walls are thin and I heard everyone walking and talking as they walked by. I even heard the TV in the next room left on all night. The fixtures are on the older side - one lamp was not working. Old time style bath which was OK with me. I enjoyed nearby hiking, horseback riding and firepit.

The property is beautiful. It was chilly so use of the amenities outdoors was limited. The indoor pool and hot tub floor are old and discolored making them unattractive to the eye.they could use to be resurfaced. The shops have limited hours as well as restaurants. And we would have liked to see entertainment in the cave or elsewhere in the venue every night. It was a bit boring in the evening. It was nice around the fire but limited seating for such a large hotel.
Our room could have been dusted better and the bed skirt even around the bed.
Other than those few things the staff is wonderful, views lovely, ground and hotel are beautiful. Food is very good.

My 2 nights were fabulous, apart from the fire alarm going off at 1:15 AM - it’s a wooden structure folk, don’t try to have a sneaky smoke without anyone noticing! No-one wants to be standing in the parking lot in the middle of the night but apparently my experience is not that unusual. However, if your room is the presidential wing you should not have to evacuate. The hotel has a cruise ship vibe in terms of service and luxury. Very enjoyable.
