Hello everyone, We wanted to have lunch with our family at this hotel — every time we’ve been in Valtice, we’ve eaten here and have always been satisfied with the food. We understand that capacities are currently overstretched everywhere, but we still wanted to ask if it might be possible to have lunch here. We entered the hotel and greeted the staff — but instead of returning the greeting, an overweight, arrogant man behind the bar snapped at us in an annoyed tone: “Do you have a reservation? No? In that case, leave…” No “I’m sorry, let me check if something opens up,” nothing of the sort. Absolutely appalling behavior, which would have deserved an appropriate response — but since I was with my family, I refrained. That being said, I will never come here again. I doubt that the fool behind the bar realizes that it’s the guests who pay his salary.

Stunning hotel, with elegantly decorated comfort rooms. I was greeted with warmth and hospitality. The real star of the hotel was the restaurant. Amazing dining experience, cosy and inviting. The menu was a culinary delight with very attentive and funny service. Very familiar atmosphere.

This is perfect. The room is large, cool, perfectly clean, lovely bathroom and very quiet. The meal we had this evening was one of the best meals I have ever had and we were only on half board. Brilliant place
