Salt on the Harbour

Hotel rooms are in a separate area from the reception and bar/restaurant, and rooms are rather cosy. Car parking is rather limited, but free if available. The breakfast is a la carte, and quite excellent, served in the dining room directly overlooking the harbour. Staff are exceptionally helpful.

Came here after searching wheres serving Sunday lunch/dinner ,so we thought we'd give it a go, good reviews arrived asked table for two for Sunday lunch , man said oh il see if we have space as we hadn't booked reserved a table , said give him 5 mins after 10min he came back to say table ready to follow him upstairs, restaurant was empty apart from couple tables in use , sat down asked about what drinks we'd like , usually way, then ... Menu for food no Sunday lunch advertised so again we asked we after Sunday lunch menu please he replied sorry but we stopped doing Sunday lunches about a month ago , disappointed but hungry and had already waited a while so decided to order off the menu , man then said sorry there's no this or that in total about 5 meals not available so we ordered what was available then waited for our starters had quite a wait , it arrived fresh hot but out opinion not value for price , mains again tasty hot , no complaints on food its self , staff/ waiter polite and attentive restaurant clean tidy although extremely disappointed about Sunday lunch we give you rating of 6

Absolutely beautiful food, great service and lovely surroundings. Thank you, will definitely come again. Served by Katy - very pleasant girl with attention to detail, she clearly enjoys her job.

Great room with perfect harbour view. Newly renovated and spotless. Friendly staff, great breakfast. We also had dinner (oysters, lobster, seafood) - excellent!

Amazing short break … as Arnie says .., “I’ll be back” Room immaculate … food fabulous .. service attentive. Had a sea view room which was wonderful.
