Homewood Suites by Hilton Brighton

It was close to everything and offered all that we needed. Pillows lacked, but that was only because I prefer a firmer one. I will come back and bring my own.

The pool was very cold so used the hot tub but the controls didn’t seem to work. Also the place is big and takes a long time to get to where you’re going. The curtains in my room didn’t shut so very light in there all night. Also no fridge and no microwave?? Never been in a hotel with no fridge. I would rate my stay a 5 but breakfast was a 10. Great selection

The room is clean but outdated. The facility is clean but very outdated. The halls on the 3rd floor smells like soup.

So this hotel has the potential to be better, but it is getting run down and needs to be cleaned better. There was hair floating in the hot tub, the pool seems cloudy, the walls by some of the doors were disintegrating and the drywall was falling off. A lot of the public access doors that required a key to open were broken and unlocked. The room itself seemed okay. There are just things that need to be replaced like broken ice bucket, a broken rusty trash can and ext….I honestly won’t book here again unless I have too.

This place was very clean, staff was great, the room was spacious, and the breakfast had decent options.

This hotel is dated, but most of our issues were related to policies and maintenance, not appearance. Our tub barely drained, so you had to shower in a couple inches of water. The room next door had brought a dog, which barked often and the walls are thin. The furniture was arranged in a manner so the door wouldn’t close between our bedroom and sitting area. The tv in the sitting area didn’t work. None of the outside doors were ever locked for security.

We enjoyed our stay! The pool could have been cleaner and warmer. My kids enjoyed the morning buffet!

Everything was lacking. We checked in friday 2/13. Checked out monday 2/16. Our room refrigerator did not work. Our food was spoiling while we were skiing. Asked if the maintenace man could get us a new one or look at it. Front desk said he already left for today. I eventually got them able to switch our room. We got locked out of our room and out of the hotel because our cards didnt work. The pool was supposed to be heated but it was ice cold. The pool heater was broke according to front desk when I asked about it. There should have been a sign about it when we checked in. We had no hot water in any of the hotel saturday, sunday and monday when we left. They had no idea when they would have hot water. I feel like it was very bad situation for us to have to pay full price when lots of things were broke. the day.

I was pretty unhappy about my stay. I’ve been to this hotel quite a few times and it’s usually my go to. But this time the pool was absolutely freezing to where it was almost impossible to get into it. I know swimming pools are obviously supposed to be cold but any other time I stayed here the pool was definitely not this cold and actually pretty like warm . The hot water in my room didn’t work because apparently the boiler broke? As well as my TV not having any sound my entire stay here. I just wish I knew about the boiler situation before I booked my stay and paid full price
