THIS IS A LEGITIMATE REVIEW FROM A LEGITIMATE USER, AND IT SHOULD BE YOUR MUST READ BEFORE BOOKING:
Good old-fashioned hotel with exceptional location on the seafront. Booked an executive king size seaview room with a balcony for 2 nights, and yeah the balcony is everything you should dream of, the view from dusk till dawn and the experience is really just beyond words.
However, aside from the visual attraction, the overall staying experience was absolutely awful in 2 aspects:
1. On the last night of our stay we found a **** stain on one of the bath towel and it was truly disgusting that we couldn’t bother to report it to the reception as we’re gone the next day, we tried to divert our focus from being disgusted(so we did not care to take a photo of this)
2. Both morning during around 9-10 am we got woke up by constant penetrating electric drilling noises. Can you imagine how awful that is? We came all the way to Brighton for a 2-night getaway, the least you could do is to ensure us a quiet place to sleep ain’t it? But the hotel failed to provided this absolute basic need from customers like us. This left us sleepy all day long on our way back and thinking about never coming back to this hotel ever again.
THIS IS A REAL EXPERIENCE FROM US AND WE’RE NOT INTENDED TO STIR ANY BEEF OR OFFEND ANY STAFF OF THE HOTEL. PLEASE MIND THE DATE I POSTED BECAUSE THE HOTEL MIGHT’VE IMPROVED AFTER THIS.
WE DONT WANT ANY PHONE CALLS OR ANY HARASSMENTS TELLING US TO DELETE IT SO PLEASE DONT TRY THOSE.
I ONLY HOPE THIS SERVES AS A REFERENCE TO THOSE WHO WERE COMING TO BRIGHTON DECIDING AN EXQUISITE PLACE TO STAY AND HELP THEM AVOID ANY DISAPPOINTMENT THEY MIGHT ENCOUNTER.

It’s a great hotel but There is no complete equipment, even the toothbrush and slippers have to ask customer service to get them 😩

The hotel is in a good location, facing the sea. The rooms are well-equipped and large enough. Because it is an old building, some of the equipment is not modern enough. The sanitation, environment and services are good.

The service was so bad that I couldn't believe it. I had to pay more for check-out at 11:30 because the front desk said the check-out time was 11:00. Really good or bad!
