Travelodge Brighton Seafront

Location is good, however shower had mould in it, couldn't shut widow so when the club across the road was closing from about 2.00am to 3.00 am it was impossible to sleep. Bar area poor and had food poisoning from breakfast. Have stayed here before and standards are definitely slipping.

It's a great location, great price, clean, good value. All the staff were polite. Plenty of hot water, towels internet iffy though. Had issues with key card as you have to use the key card to go through the public area's. Apparently a regular issue! Plus snarky guest! Getting told off for laughing, no luck music, not late! Get a grip snarky guest's, it's a bloody hotel in a busy city! The room walls are thin. You cannot stop people laughing. A little tip bring ear plugs or go book a room in the middle of nowhere!!

Excellent customer service. Clean and peaceful hotel.

Stayed for a Saturday and Sunday weekend break. Bathroom was dusty when we arrived Went out for Saturday night meal and back by 10.30pm. The intolerable noise from drunken partygoers outside the hotel went on until 5.30! Showered Sunday morning and left the appropriate sign on door for fresh towels etc and enjoyed a walk/ lunch in the town. Returned early afternoon and reminded staff on desk that we needed fresh towels and was assured would be done. Went out in the evening and returned 11pm but NO FRESH TOWELLS! Quiet night tonight! We are very young pensioners and not complainers however our requests for fresh towels was ignored and that is unacceptable ! Visitors should be warned regarding the outside noise which totally spoilt or first nights sleep!

Had tickets to see Paloma Faith so had to pay an inflated price to stay at the Travelodge(£149.99) for a standard double. The previous day and the following days were £49.99. I know it's supply and demand but really? Check-in was after 3.00 pm, and we arrived at 3.40 to be told the room was not ready because of late checkouts, these are "beyond their control" and unable to regulate occupancy daily! The hotel was average, the room was average although the food was slightly better than average. If you pay the normal rate i.e. around £50 then its ok as quite central and near to the beach and bar/restaurants etc.
