We stayed in a twin room apartment (room 6) it had a large hole behind the door, cobwebs around the room in corners. Rooms had a certain aroma, we purchased some spray to neutralise it. Rooms need vacuuming under and around furniture as well as inside wardrobes. Although the rooms in general appeared to be unvacummed.
The carpet was torn & worn out - desperately needs replacement. Walls dirty & patch work of different colours.
The on-site manager was fantastic to deal with, allowed us to check in early. For a “serviced” apartment it only has staff come through once every three days. We were in our room when the staff came through and cleaned our room, the lady basically pushed the vacuum through the kitchen and into the bathroom, leaving the lounge and both bedrooms unvacummed, it’s no wonder there was still a lot of left over bits of rubbish under the couch and the beds in the rooms. We found a pair of shorts and undies from previous tenants, I let the staff know. The two rolls of toilet paper supplied originally in the room at the start of our stay had all but finished by day three which was when the room was serviced, after servicing the room, no replacement toilet paper or coffee, needed to be requested.
The apartment is in a fantastic location.
all in all disappointed considering what is charged. The other rooms could be great as I was booking based off the recent reviews which were excellent, room 6 obviously doesn’t get much attention.
