The location is good, right next to the Botanical Garden. Not the newest, but comfortable.

Great location, right next to the Botanical Gardens. This location is quieter than other 5 star hotels in Brisbane city and much preferred. Furniture is a little old but view is amazing.

I used to really enjoy staying at this hotel but not any more. You can tell they've cut down on a lot of costs, it shows in the training of their front desk staff, the plastic flowers on display, the low quality of the sheets and the cheap amenities that they now use. For the amount that I paid for one night in this hotel, I should have just stayed in a FOUR STAR hotel as this hotel is no longer what I would rate is a five star hotel. All in all it's now BASIC.

Our preferred hotel when in Brisbane, rooms are becoming tired and require the beds to be replaced asap preferably before we book the Stamford again.

I think I should have checked when I made the reservation.
There was one bed for two old men.
It was hilarious🤣
It was a queen or king size bed, so I managed to sleep with a pillow in between.

The room decoration has a sense of history, the hotel's service is pretty good, and the location is great. It's on the Brisbane River and the scenery is pleasant!

The location is great, the service is great, and the concierge guy is very welcoming.
A fly in the ointment: The room decoration is a bit dated, the Story Bridge cannot be seen, and infrastructure construction is going on outside the window.
Children's favorites are of course the swimming pool downstairs, the playground in the botanical garden next door and the playground on the south bank opposite.
Museums are also nearby, but unfortunately children are not interested.
