Hotel-Pension Pastow Garni

Our last night before taking the ferry to Denmark, Hotel-Pension Pastow offered us nice, reasonably priced accommodation before we caught the ferry in Rostock. The hotel is in a nice, quiet location, about twenty minutes from the ferry terminal. Our host was very accommodating and graciously explained the route we had to take to the ferry terminal. The hotel is close to shopping, etc., which was good, as we had some grocery shopping to do before we headed over to Denmark. Not really necessary, but nice to do as groceries are cheaper on this side of the border and also offer a different variety of grocery wares. The hotel is ideally located for a one nights stay, but it would also be ideal for a multi-day stay. It is a clean and well maintained facility, the hosts are nice and friendly. It is located in a nice, quiet setting. The room was comfortable and prepared us well for the next days journey! Breakfast is available, we left before it was served. The grounds are pleasant, free parking is available on the site and there is free wifi as well. Hotel-Pension Pastow was a good choice. We will stay here again, next time we are in the area. Next time should be spent in exploring the Rostock area, as well. The ferry is operated by Scandlines. We caught the nine o'clock sailing which cost us 121 euro. You will save money by booking online. The ferry, has what you expect, restaurants and shopping onboard. It is about a two hour journey, so sit back and enjoy your trip!
