Great place to stay before return via Le Shuttle. Whole place very clean with comfortable bed giving good night’s sleep. Breakfast was excellent with good choice of options. Welcoming and helpful staff from beginning to end. Large and secure parking. Pleased to see some cycling teams staying before a race. Despite being full nothing impeded our stay and we would definitely stay here or another in the chain again.

This was an overnight stop en route to the south and I chose this hotel because of its proximity to the motorway and the fact that there were restaurants within walking distance. The chain is not the cheapest of the budget hotels but the standard is higher. I was a bit confused by the loyalty scheme as there are two; one that is free with limited benefits and a subscription one which is only worth frequent travellers in France joining. Using the free B&me scheme I received a discount on the room rate but the breakfast was full price. The hotel was not well signposted from the entrance to the town but the street was located on GPS and we found it relatively easily. There was ample parking in a secure area that is locked at night. The foyer was bright and welcoming with a bar and some limited seating. Our check in was not quick as the booking was not recognised, the receptionist took the card payment twice in error and she was unable to print the receipt. We were pleased to have arrived when reception was manned as there could have been problems accessing the automated entry system late at night. We hope that the second payment will be refunded in due course. We walked to a brasserie which has an arrangement with the hotel for 10% discount on production of the hotel receipt. Fortunately the receptionist had managed to print ours just before we set off. The room was fine although the shower arrangements are a bit strange. The washbasin was missing a plug and there were no hooks or rails for damp towels. The bed was very comfortable and it was dark and quiet at night. The advantage of staying here rather than in Calais is the fact that there are arrivals and departures at all hours close to the port. There is a fair choice at breakfast, different types of bread and pastries, slices of cheese and cooked meat, jams and spreads. There was evidence of scrambled egg in a domed chafing dish but it had run out as had some jams. Staff could have been more attentive to the selection available. All in all we were satisfied and we’d stay there again.

Stayed for one night on our way further south having wanted to avoid an overnight in Calais due to security concerns. It appears to be relatively new and this is reflected in the standard of the family room we booked. Though the room was fairly basic, everything was very modern and clean. The bathroom area was separate to the toilet and, rather strangely, privacy was maintained by a curtain rather than a door. However it worked without problems. There is a small bar but this seemed to close early and there was no sign of the vending machines you often get in French budget hotels. Breakfast was basic though reasonably priced and sufficient for our needs. Whilst there is no facility for evening dining, discounts were available at a number of local restaurants just ten minutes walk or five minutes by car. Would have no hesitation in using again.

The incheck was with a machine. Simple to do. Unfortunatelly we had to pay on the machine while we weren't sure that we would stay both nights. The room was big enough for us both but why is the bed so small? Please upgrade it to at least 180cm wide and 220cm long. My husbands feet were outside the bed aswell as our knies. The bathroom is for disabled people very nice but there's no showercurtain so everything is wet after taking a shower, toilet, toiletpaper and even the floor outside the bathroom! There were two towels to shower but no small towels to dry our hand after using the toilet. The bedsheet is too warm for this time of year and the pillows are too soft. Breakfast was too late for us, we left early. There is a curtain (we slept on the back of the hotel were the carshops are) but this curtain didn't keep all the light of the carshops outside! Everybody we spook how stayed in this hotel had the same opinion. It is great for the place where we stayed but the hotel itself could be better as told in this review.

stayed at the hotel for the third or fourth time. it is excellently positioned for a driving holiday being only 1 hour from calais. there are many restaurants and bars within walking distance and a fuel station nearby. the hotel has excellent parking and the rooms are functional and exceptionally clean.

Great hotel which we have used many times on driving holidays as its a short hop to the eurotunnel. Great location very close to restaurants and a large supermarket with petrol station. the hotel is always very clean and well presented and staff are very friendly. excellent value for money as an overnight stop.
