Unfortunately we had a terrible experience at easyhotel Brussels. The room we were given had several issues as seen in the photos below. The window in the room had a large crack which is obviously unsafe and meant we could not open the window as we were scared it would break. The shower in the room had a bad leak and puddles into the hallway in the room. As a result of this leak, whilst my partner was showering I slipped and injured my back - which hindered me from taking part in activities we had booked in Brussels. Finally, the TV was useless and did not have any channels or internet access.
We reported all of these issues to the hotel reception on the first night. We were told they would sort it. Nothing was done about it and we had to complain to the reception again on the second night, we were told there was nothing they could do and they had no alternative rooms.
Ultimately, this room is clearly not adequate and should not be sold. We submitted a formal complaint with easyhotel, however all the staff are denying our interactions and are claiming we only told them about the TV - which is just lies to cover their backs as they know they have messed up. Staff were inconsiderate and quite frankly did not care when we told them about the issues.
To conclude, the location of the hotel is good, but that's the only thing good about it. The rooms are not adequate and they are unsafe, the staff are rude and inconsiderate, and the rooms do not get cleaned. If you want your room cleaning you have to pay €20 each time - which is just unheard of. So whilst the price may seem cheap, there's a reason for it.
