Modernized structure but always in a classic key, need to improve the TV service that only some channels work while the swimming pool and spa services are not at the top for cleaning,

We booked for two night for its location in October 23 to 24 2023. First night first discovery AC doesn’t get below 24C when outside temperature is 27C. Got a false hope of repair. Never happened. Second discovery , hotel room phone system not working for days. I have to come down from 16 floor to get service or complain . Thirdly. Missing hair dryer from room . I don’t believe it’s recommended as five star facility?

The Reception desk could be more prompt in addressing requests (e.g., television in the room did not work), but I understand they are understaffed.

The property has an immense competitive advantage over its competitors, mostly due to its central location, easy access to all transportation and wonderful views. However, the hotel is dated, with very old finishes that have started to show its age - more like the Overlook Hotel of the East... The outdoor carpet looks like it has never been changed since the initial construction and people smoke in front of the entrance with disregard. The air conditioning was non-existent and I couldn't adjust the thermostat. Had to sleep with the balcony door open for eight nights. I'm not sure if this is a non-smoking hotel but I was initially given a room that smelled like a cigar parlor. Overall, the hotel is desperately in need of an overhaul of its amenities, look & feel, façade and infrastructure upgrades. The staff was great and super accommodating. But the need for capital investment for this trophy asset is quite evident.

I expected more from the hotel. Price and level did not match. The carpet had many visible stains. And the room was very old

Very nice hotel with good position.Rooms are nice especially on highest floor with nice view.Room are clean and beds are very comfortable.
Nice SPA with nice view on 22.floor.
Club room are very good cause then you can enjoy hotel lounge on 21 floor.
Hotel is on nice position next to National Theater
