Although Novotel Budapest is not new, the rooms are well-maintained and the service is excellent. The breakfast buffet is a cut above the rest and the gym and pool are usable. If you’re comfortable taking the bus/AirPort Express it’s not much of an effort to get around (if you’re fit you can walk to Pest np). There’s a great diner/bar across the highway and a mall 5 mins away for a Spar supermarket and upscale restos and shopping. One downside is that they tend to cut the aircon during the weekdays and the rooms can get uncomfortable (Saturdays the room can be colder if you prefer).

I originally wanted to book a hotel in Bad Ischl, a popular transit point, but it was sold out. In the end, I chose Bad Goisern, just one stop away. I loved this hotel so much that I took tons of photos. The room is quite large for Austria, with a balcony and a kitchen. Since eating out in the lake area is difficult, we bought some food at the supermarket next to the hotel, cooked it ourselves, and ate on the balcony, listening to the birdsong outside. It was so relaxing. There are free bicycles in the underground garage; you can email the code in advance. The hotel is about 800 meters from the train station and a 500-meter walk from bus stop 541, making it very convenient for trips to Gosau or St. Wolfgang. Transportation in the lake area is very convenient, as long as you choose the right time. I recommend buying a day ticket; it's very cost-effective!

I had a wonderful stay at Helios Hotel Apartment. The apartment was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, offering all the comforts of home. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring a seamless experience from check-in to check-out. The location was perfect, with easy access to nearby attractions and amenities. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay!

A wonderful 2 bed house in the heart of Budapest overlooking the historical area of the city.
The space
Spacious 2 bedroom house with a gorgeous view over the city of Budapest.
Guests can enjoy entire facilities of the house including a spacious master bedroom, separate kitchen & well equipped living area for relaxing.
The living area has a spacious double sofa which can provide easy sleeping space for 2 additional guests.
There is also a summer terrace and spacious garden for sunbathing and grill parties.
A hammock hanging between two large Line trees can also give you a relaxing vibe whilst enjoying the views of the city.

The hotel is right next to the Budapest Conference Center. In the morning, you can exercise in the Plaza of the Conference Center. There is an underground parking lot opposite, and above the parking lot is a local market. The rooms are of good size and very clean. An extra bed in a single room will increase by 10 Euros. If you communicate properly, you may be able to bring breakfast. The morning is great, with a variety of flavors of cheese and sausages, hot food changes every day, two packs of roasted very well, a lot of milk, juice, coffee, and hot water. The hotel also has a family room with a kitchen. For a family of three, it is not a problem if you are not used to western food. I also saw Jackie Chan's TV series in the hotel lobby. Very happy experience.
