Beautiful place, very friendly, amazing food, great service. Visit many entertainment and historical places, Sveti Stefan, Old City, walk along the water, boardwalk, yacht area, enjoy a drink by the lights at night, seafood …simply a must

As a 5 star hotel I can say that the rooms and amenities are nice. We stayed in the suite room facing the sea and our friends stayed in a standard room facing the mountains. ROOMS FACING THE SEA IS MUCH BETTER. Amenities like tha spa and sauna, indoor pool and outside pool are okay. The biggeat downfall of the hotel is its staff. I have never seen a hotel wherein the staff look miserable, unfriendly and basically don’t have manners. I will give examples: 1. We went to the beach because it was sunny and the beach was tempting, we went to the beach benches, first thing the staff on duty did? closed the umbrella and rudely told us that it is for hotel guests only. My friend told them we got two rooms in the hotel but they were really unfriendly. When they realized that me and my wife were staying in the suite room there was a sudden change in the atmosphere. they started smilling. Basic rule of any hotel, be friendly and be warm with anyone regardless if you are guests or not. 2. We had the buffet dinner, the front desk told us it would be €35 each, we said no problem. Then again she asked in a rude tone it would be €35 per person, again we said no problem. If we could afford the suite room clearly we could afford the food. Food was okay, same with the breakfast buffet. But what irked us the most is while we were still eating, the waiter wanted us to pay straight away. Come on, basic manners, when a person is still eating try not to disturb them. It is very rude and removes all the graces from eating a meal. I told the waiter if it could wait because we were still eating and it is a basic etiquette. But nope, wants us to pay while we were munching our food. I don’t recommend eating in the hotel, there is a restaurant right in front of the hotel just across the street. Food is way better, cheaper and the staff have manners. All in all we enjoyed our Monte***** trip. But if we would have a choice to come back specifically to this hotel. we wont. I expect more from a 5 star hotel. the Infrastructure is okay but again the staff is the downfall. I recommend training your staff with basic hospitality. It feels great for customers to feel the warmth of the staff. I could only count with my one hand the number of staff who actually make us feel at ease and at home. As an avid traveller this is one of the worse Staff experience me and my friends have encountered which in a way affected the way we see Monte*****.

Love this place been here many times sinc 2006. Rooms always clean, roomy and in good order. Love the spa and indoor swimming pool. Very relaxing. Staff attentive and restaurant offers good food selection buffet style.

The main dislike was for the hotel room not to be cleaned properly when we arrived, for example we had opened cotton pads in the shower and etc. The room doesn’t have a kettle and have only coffee machine with capsules for 2 euro each which didn’t even work in our room. We asked for one hour later check-out and front-desk manager Jelena didn’t let us saying it is full occupancy in hotel (can you imagine it in October? Nether can we, cause we do see 5 people at the beach and 2-3 at the spa). We checked the availability of the rooms at the website and there are plenty. She also didn’t even apologized for the inconvenience with unclean room and not working coffe machine, such a horrible service for a 5 star hotel! The hotel is big and located near the sea. The breakfast was so-so, many dishes to choose but nothing tasty. Our experience overall - 3 out of 5.

Amazing hotel, comfortable rooms, lovely view, food is various, tasty, you can find anything you like.. staff is hospitable and you simply have everything you need in one place.. pools are fantastic, as well as the spa.. and the beach is just there. I will return for sure.

every thing was o.k. this the only hotel in my entire travelling that charge for the espreso machine capsules.
