Excellent stopover (1 night) after our visit to L'Abbaye de Fontenay, a stone's throw from this beautiful place - Excellent welcome by the owners of the place - Room No. 4 was very good - Facing the Burgundy canal - Very comfortable with a minibar, air conditioning (very pleasant currently), kettle with tea and coffee – Ideal shower room – Everything is very clean and tastefully decorated – Dinner was perfect and the staff very pleasant, discreet and efficient – ​​Very nice sunny terrace and flowery (table with tablecloth and well decorated) - The dishes were very well cooked and above all well presented - The Burgundy wine list is quite affordable - We tried a very fresh Irancy Rosé (excellent) - Perfect breakfast with excellent pastries and fresh products – We have excellent memories of our stopover in this haven of peace and can only recommend it – On the wise advice of the lady, we went to visit the large Buffon forge located 1 km from this beautiful place – Indeed, it’s a must not to be missed either –

We only spent one night at this establishment. - The room was quite good (even if number 3 overlooks the roof of the restaurant kitchen): comfortable bedding and the shower room was well equipped. However, the soundproofing still needs to be reviewed because we hear everything between the rooms (for example: we were woken up by the alarm clock in the room next door) - The breakfast is very, very low-end for the price! rubbery frozen pastries, industrial bread, cheese and ham presented in Tupperware?, no fresh fruit... and all in a very particular organization (all the customers are grouped in a corner of the room without even offering us a breakfast outside) In short, a lousy buffet for 10€ we were hoping for at least fresh pastries from the bakery or something a little more quality! The owner tells us she is planning work in the room to improve the breakfast... to see if the products change too!
