Excellent breakfast: fresh or freshly made products, nice variety for any taste. The building is beautiful and harmonious. The best hotel stay of our trip in Uzbekistan! "We stayed at this hotel in October 2025. It was a pleasure surprise for us to spent a couple of days in a 15th century old Jewish houses, adjusted to the synagogue, and converted to the hotel. We were told that the hotel owner bought 5 abandoned old Jewish homes, next door to the synagogue and convert them to the beautiful hotel with a garden. During the hotel reconstructions, a couple of rooms with Torah inscriptions were discovered and preserved as is. Also, the vine cellars were discovered as well. Every day, the hotel administrations provided a free tour thru the these rooms, explained Jewish life in Bukhara then and now. We stayed at the first floor room Highly recommended this hotel."

"Umid, the owner is truly welcoming and went out of his way to ensure our stay was perfect. He was always available and willing to assist with every need. Usman Heritage is a house and the home where Umid lived and grew up. Left to ruin, Umid took up the challenge to restore it and has done a fine job of making it a comfortable, clean and unique guest house. While still a work in progress, Umid has done a considerable amount of work to make the rooms comfortable while retaining their old charm. We stayed in the Family Room with triple beds which, while spacious, clean and comfortable, still needs some hangings on the wall, hooks and bathroom amenities. Usman Heritage is a boutique residence and not a hotel so no facilities are offered other than rooms. Umid prepares breakfast himself and does an amazing job of delivering different and delicious cooked dishes daily. Location is excellent. A short walk to Lyabi Square and a very pleasant 15 minute walk through the old neighbourhood to the Kalon Monaret. Taxis are very reasonable and available just outside and will take you anywhere else."

"The hotel was clean, but it was quite far from the old city, especially since only electric carts could access Bukhara's old city, and at night you had to walk a long way to the area outside the curfew to hail a taxi. The breakfast had a variety of options, but most were cold. A few hot items seemed poorly heated and remained cold, and the taste was just average."

"Advantages: 1. Excellent location, approximately a 15-minute walk from Registan Square. 2. Good front desk service; the staff at the front desk helped with luggage up and down the stairs even though there's no elevator. 3. There's a viewing platform on the third floor, a good place to relax and have tea, suitable for leisure travelers. Disadvantages: 1. Room types are not standard; there are both large and small double rooms, so early check-in allows for better selection. When no rooms were available, I was given a triple room, which was spacious, but the bed was very narrow, estimated to be about 0.8 meters wide. 2. There's no POS machine at the front desk; credit cards cannot be used for payment, and the original deposit cannot be deducted; only cash payment is accepted."
