On arrival we were greeted by a lovely lady who explained everything we needed to know, there is free parking for electric cars and ordinary cars and even a camera to see when it’s clear to pull out of the car park as it’s on bend , the bed was sooo comfy and we didn’t want to get out of it , it was quiet the whole the time we was there , we had breakfast and there was a lot of choice either for vegetarian, vegan and meat & dairy options as well , continental or cooked breakfasts

Thank you for an amazing stay! The limes is a real gem, all friendly staff members room was super clean and very comfortable… we had breakfast and that was 10/10! We had an amazing time with our friends and really recommend a stay! Maldon its self is a very nice place to visit with lots of things to explore! Thanks “the limes” we will be staying again soon!

Staying at The Limes was an absolute pleasure. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a warm welcome that made me feel like part of the family. The rooms are impeccably clean, neat, and cozy—clearly cared for with pride. Each morning starts on a high note thanks to the generous breakfast, excellent coffee, and the radiant Sammie, whose friendly energy truly lights up the room and sets the perfect tone for the day. My top breakfast pick is the Luigi’s Royal—a delicious Italian twist with focaccia, avocado, smoked salmon, poached eggs, and rich hollandaise. Simply outstanding. If you’re looking for comfort, character, and a personal touch, The Limes is the place to be. Five stars. Can’t wait to return. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

This is an exquisite boutique hotel. Their price is very reasonable for a hotel so well equipped and situated. You are one minute away from Maldon's bustling High Street, and another ten minute walk will take you into the countryside along the river, or down to the bustling promenade. Parking is on-site and generous, and service is second to none. Breakfast, which is included in your stay, is amazing, with both quality and quantity boxes ticked. Our room was compact but had everything we needed, with a lovely shower and an impressive Velux window being the two highlights. The TV is cleverly set up to allow for bedtime viewing, yet it folds away nicely to save space. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to enjoy Maldon and its environs and will certainly be returning here if our travels take us this way again.

We stayed in The Limes Room for an overnight stay. The room was amazing, spotlessly clean, comfy bed, lots of great touch’s in the room that we weren’t expecting. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and for breakfast, the food was excellent, and brilliant service. The staff go above and beyond in every way. Would 100% go again it was perfect in every way possible.

Went with my best friend as a birthday treat. They ran out of multiple items at breakfast so we ended up having to go out. The room was absolutely boiling hot and it just gave me the worst headache when I woke up. The toilet didn’t flush we told them this multiple times nothing was done about it. Absolute nightmare from start to finish. Thought it would be fantastic service but it was the exact opposite. Would rather have stayed at home!

Quite tricky to find and car park is sectioned off which made parking a bit difficult. Nice welcome from the receptionist. Room was VERY small. We had two cases and had to pile them up to allow us to move around! Very well equipped. Great breakfast in the restaurant.

We stayed in the Limes Room. It was Awesome. So clean and comfortable. The breakfast was the best we have had in a Hotel this Year. So much choice and so different. Dinner in the Restaurant was amazing too. As were the Cocktails. Staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend. Can't wait to go back. Sue and Jim Heale.
