L7 HAEUNDAE by LOTTE HOTELS

Stayed for three nights, and it was... fine, I guess. Nothing exceptional, but not bad either. Its 'good location' just means it's right by Haeundae Beach, with plenty of restaurants nearby. However, it's a 10-minute walk to both the subway and Mipo Station. The facilities are pretty standard, but it's relatively new, and the room was a decent size. For the first two nights, we got a free room upgrade. When extending our stay, we were asked to pay an extra 33,000 KRW, either to move to a lower floor or pay the difference. We were too lazy to move, so we just paid to stay in the upgraded room.

Facilities: Very comprehensive, and soundproofing is quite good. Cleanliness: Much better than expected. Environment: Very close to the subway station, with a commercial street right downstairs. It's also near the capsule monorail, within walking distance. Service: The front desk staff can speak English, so communication is easy. Also, I highly recommend the BBQ restaurant next to the optical shop downstairs.

The room was very new and the service was excellent. The location is superb, right by the sea. You can go down and dig in the sand anytime, which is perfect for families with kids.

When choosing a hotel in Busan, between the areas near Busan Station, Seomyeon, and Haeundae, I finally settled on L7 Hotel Haeundae Lotte, and the experience was fantastic! It's right by Haeundae Beach; just cross the road and you're there. I booked a Deluxe Family Twin with a partial ocean view, and from the sofa, you can pretty much see the whole ocean. It's not too far from the subway station, just a straight walk down a street lined with shops, restaurants, and entertainment, which was really lively. A big plus was the free self-service luggage drop-off. The toilet, shower room, and sink are completely separate, which was very convenient for three people. One minor point: there's an extra charge if you want an additional blanket for the double bed.
