This was our first time staying in Mississippi outside of my Keesler AFB training, and I’m extremely disappointed by the experience at this hotel. When we arrived on June 28, 2025, the room had a strong foul odor, visible cockroaches, and a dirty blanket. We decided not to stay because the conditions were clearly unsanitary and unacceptable. When I brought this to the front desk, instead of apologizing or investigating, they falsely accused us of messing up the room just because the pillows had been moved — and then asked us to leave without a refund. This was completely unprofessional and felt like an attempt to avoid accountability. This experience was not only frustrating but also damaging to what could have been a positive trip. I sincerely hope this location gets inspected and cleaned up so others don’t go through the same. Their reservation line repeatedly transferred us back to the front desk, even though I clearly selected the option for cancellations. The front desk had only one staff member, who was frequently away, and it felt like they were intentionally avoiding us to avoid issuing a refund.
