We paid for the garden suite which was really well decorated and the space was used really well, however we were a little disappointed that the garden was actually the entrance to the property and right on the main road. Sitting out there would have meant other guests walking right past you so not quite what we expected. Everything was really clean and the location of the apartments were great for the town centre, however with the room being on the main road it was a little noisy.

A bit of a mix up on rooms. We were just unpacking when other people walked into the garden room we were in. The garden room was a good size but room 4 was very small. Clean and good for a couple of days. Great location for town and the beach which are only a 5 minute walk and room is quiet at night.

Nice location, lovely little accommodation I like the keypads instead of key access... However I'm not sure if I would stay again.. for 2 reasons, firstly the window in the room is extremely unsafe it wouldn't take a master criminal to figure out how to open it, when we got there the window wasn't secure when we opened it worryingly there were steps outside leading to our window for no apparent reason. we secured the window as best we could but a good pull it would be open. it seems to back onto some sort of field or neighbouring yard which there's a hole in the fence so easy access for people to get to... the walls and windows are very thin can hear everything outside from the road traffic, birds and wildlife but most annoyingly there was some sort of generator or extractor fan outside the windows which were on all night every night loud and vibrating to the point we could feel it from the bed I can only assume its something to do with the air conditioning... the room we were in was tiny the larger rooms look gorgeous. if I did come back it would have to be in one of the larger rooms only a 5 minute walk into the centre to ideal location. free parking only a few minutes walk away.

Excellent stay for our time in Byron Bay. Perfect accommodation if you love aesthetics and on a budget. Very comfortable price for the luxury they had to offer. I loved the concept of a house with rented out rooms, very homey. Beautiful home and spoke to the manager once we left who one was lovely and shared some insight into the infrastructure of the place. only a 5 minute walk to the beach, also. Facilities did not fail, incredible air conditioning and rooms. Absolutely loved my stay at BayHaven Lodge. If I could I would stay again :)

Cannot fault our stay here. Both Nick and Adam were helpful and efficient, their communication with us was excellent. We only stayed 3 days so a relatively short trip but we were offered fresh towels on day 2 which were delivered to our room. During our stay we had a crazy rain storm which did cause some issues with the hot water, this was totally beyond control of bayhaven but they messaged us right away to let us know, told us it would be fixed as soon as possible and within a few hours we received a message to say it had all been sorted. They were transparent and honest and we couldn’t have asked for more than that. There is parking on Milton street, which is literally round the corner (about 3/4 mins walk) that is ideal if you have a car with you. The location of Bayhaven itself was perfect for us. A short walk into town where you have access to everything, shops bars restaurants and the beach! It is on the main road into town so the road does get busy but the noise of the traffic didn’t disturb us at all. You also don’t have to worry about leaving the room without a card or key to get back in, all the gates and doors are coded, we found this really helpful! The room was fully equipped with everything we needed, hairdryer, kettle, toaster, iron and ironing board. Everything was provided. The only criticism we would have is the bathroom/ toilet set up , yes they’ve made great use of the space available, and the shower is great (hot and powerful!) but there is limited space for toiletries and storage. My partner is also 6”3 and struggled as the sink is small and surrounding area is quite tight. We had a hanging toiletry bag which there was a hook for but I had to put everything else (makeup bag and hair stuff etc) on the kitchen counter worktops. In the grand scheme of things its only a small criticism and wouldn’t stop us coming back, but as a female it’s just something I noticed! Overall a solid 8/10 and we throughly enjoyed our stay 😁

Lovely property and prime location with a short stroll into town. The spa was nice to come home too after a long day out and about too! Thanks for having us!

Rude manager and terrible service. Let himself into our room 25 minutes before check-out with no explanation. No apology, instead saying “No need to get in a huff about it”. Obviously first day as manager with zero customer service skills.

We enjoyed a week in Byron Bay staying at Bayhaven Lodge, conveniently located a mere 5 minute walk to town and the beach. Well appointed and comfortable room opening to a sunny courtyard. The small bathroom presented logistical challenges initially, but we quickly found our groove. We were really well looked after by Nick who checked on us daily and refreshed supplies without asking. Nothing seemed too much trouble, even when circumstances meant we needed to leave a day early. Highly recommended for short stays in Byron Bay!

Comfy bed, beautifully thought out decor with all amenities needed (kettle, hairdryer, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, wash up stuff, etc). Location within 5 mins stroll to Main Street of Byron Bay, 2 min walk to solar train which we used to get to stone and wood brewery. Highly recommend this modern, beautiful, excellently located stay ❤️
