We stopped off on the way home from Tarbert, via Portavadie. We hadn’t been here for YEARS so couldn’t wait to reminisce. It was a such a lovely welcome from the lady who was front of house, it wasn’t busy but she spent time chatting to everyone. The food was absolutely delicious and great value for money! Quality ingredients and a lovely, homely environment. 2 fish suppers, 2 soup with sandwich combos. Absolutely delicious. Great outdoor space with views over loch fyne too. Such a great place.

I stayed for 2 nights as I was working in the area. It is a very homely place. My room was very comfortable, great pressure in the shower and plenty of hot water. The bed was comfortable and the room quiet, even with the windows open. There was also a good desk to work at. The inn has a residents’ lounge with a beautiful view of the water. The food was exceptionally good - lots of seafood options - all cooked / presented well. The staff were caring and lovely. A great stay for work or pleasure

Stumbled across this lovely place by chance when I was out driving with my wife and daughter. We popped in for a light lunch. The food was excellent. From the tasty home made soup to the best club sandwich I have had in years. Service was superb and staff were so welcoming. Definitely be back.

We stayed two nights at Creggans while walking the Loch Lomond and Cowal Way and very much enjoyed the clean, spacious and homely room and delicious, great value food. The owners and staff are warm and friendly and were happy to provide packed lunches and fill our flasks. Another high point is the view over the Loch, no matter the weather. Would definitely recommend to all kinds of guests.

Just returned from another visit to this first class friendly hotel. We have enjoyed a Spring break here (and sometimes an additional Autumn break) for a number of years now. The warm and friendly welcome when you arrive is always such a good start to your stay here. The room was cosy on a cool March day with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Daily housekeeping ensured coffee, tea, toiletries etc. were replaced regularly. The evening menu is varied featuring local seafood while also catering for meat eaters and vegetarians. All cooked to perfection and nicely presented. The staff in the restaurant are excellent. Friendly and attentive. And this is before I mention the views of the loch - simply spectacular !! Try out the Spring offers and, like us, you will be hooked and want to return again and again to this super hotel.

We stayed for the Hogmanay period 29 December to 2 January We had a truly fabulous time Lovely staff, lovely food and the ever-changing views of Loch Fyne that took your breath away. Not to stay here would be such a massive mistake if you are visiting the West Highlands As Horace (the ancient Greek poet) said “quot petis hic est” namely… “what you seek is here” It certainly is so do spend time here and indulge yourself at the glorious Creggans

Stayed here two nights while walking the Loch Lomond and Cowal Way. We were made very welcome at reception, in the bar and in the restaurant. The rooms were very good with great views over Loch Fyne and the conservatory at the front was a great place to relax, as was the garden. I'm surprised at some of the negative restaurant reviews here, as we ate there both nights and had no problems. Food and service were absolutely fine, perhaps not fine dining but certainly generous, tasty and nutritious and reasonably good value for money. We were sorry to leave after two nights and would certainly return.

This is a lovely wee restaurant of the hotel. Staff were delightful and friendly. The food was delicious. I had leek & potato soup with homemade bread. It was piping hot and tasty. The highland ‘coo’ beef and ale pie was as soft as butter and amazingly tasty. Not a bit of gristle to be seen. Reasonable prices. Well worth a visit. Views across the loch are great.
