Lovely little oasis within walking dustance of centre. Fab little pool fir relaxing in after a day out. Very good value for money.

not much swimming area and lack of beach chairs (only 3 chairs on the beach) and window missing screen to prevent bugs/mosquitos.

Shower recess very strong smell of Demestos (Bleach). Shower recess extremely slippery and dangerous. Mould on wall and ceiling. Plastic garbage bin on kitchen floor without lid. Rug in centre of lounge floor very dirty and poorly maintained. Had to request washing up requisites - not supplied in room on arrival.

We enjoyed our stay for 1 week at Cascade Gardens. An excellent location is close to the Cairns City shopping centre, close to the suburban buses and to the seashore walking promenade. The staff were friendly and obliging for directions to the city and to the areas that tourists like to visit. Cascade Gardens is worth another visit.
