Globales Cala Bona

Relaxing restful break. We arrived the last week in October and had a lovely all inclusive break. The main positive was the staff, everyone was pleasant, helpful and went above and beyond. The hotel has 4 floors with 1 lift. We never had to wait for the lift as most people walked down and only took lift up. All rooms over look the pool. A big positive was the door key was attached to your wristband, so no losing it or it getting wiped by your phone. You are provided with a card to used in the electricity slot. We were on the first floor and had a suite with 2 rooms. Large rooms with the 2nd room not needed by us but was a handy space to keep our suitcases and leave items out , it has a second tv and would be a nice place to sit and chill if needed. The main bedroom attached to the balcony was very modern and stylish, large bed very comfortable. Fridge and safe , refreshment tray with kettle. Extra pillows and quilt in wardrobe. TV and aircon. Great lighting but as mentioned by many, no drawers. Hanging space and shelves in wall unit but replacing the stylish bedside tables with drawers would all that needed to be done. You need to have somewhere to keep your smalls. The bathroom was very large and had a powerful walk-in shower with toiletries provided. Good hairdryer. A small edge around the sink being the only place to put toiletries apart from the floor. A shelf is needed. The food and drink was all that was needed for all inclusive and had a wide selection at all meals to choose from. The chefs and waiters are always available and work very hard to meet everyones needs. There is an outside snack bar where snacks are cooked to order if needed. The hotel operates a token system for poolside drinks. You are given a token. Which is exchanged for a drink in a plastic glass, when you have finished you return your glass and retrieve a token. This works well, and keeps the poolside clean. We didn’t use the indoor pool or gym, good size outdoor pool, which we did use even though it was very cold so late in the season. Plenty of sunbeds and Balinese beds , we had no issues getting one at anytime during the day, May be different in full season. There was only entertainment , singers/band on for 3 nights and I understand they are aiming at a quieter clientele but maybe more would be better. The hotel is situated 2 minutes from the small beach and 5 minutes from the harbour. Easy access to the promenade, bars, shops, restaurants and easy walk to Cala Millor. There is a bus stop outside the hotel. This hotel was ideal for us, but it was the staff who made the difference from the moment we arrived to leaving and to mention anyone in particular would be leaving someone out. We would look at returning in the future

We have been to this hotel a couple of times and I can't praise it enough, staff are very friendly and cheerful the whole place is kept spotless and the food is always to a high standard, looking forward to coming back this year,because you know what you are arriving too.

I've visited this Hotel twice now and booked again for April this year. You can't ask for more. I love Cala Bona and this hotel compliments it perfectly no matter if your a family, a couple or going on your own. The food is great and always a good choice, the rooms are spotless and modern and the pool area is lovely. Staff are also amazing and very welcoming. Can't ask for more really which is the the reason I've booked to go twice again this year

Rooms are very clean and modern but could do with a shelf in bathroom. Also could do with some drawers to put your clothes. Brilliant air conditioning. Food excellent. Staff very friendly especially Lorraine and Manola. There was entertainment on a few evenings but no lighting or area laid out. We had to take chairs from the dining room to use outside. Area was good as only a few steps from beach and bars, shops etc. Would highly recommend.

Stayed for a week. Clean hotel, comfortable and with good attentiveness from hotel staff. Great amenities at the hotel to relax and pamper. Food was fairly good standard and plenty of choice. Overall really nice stay here and would consider staying there again in the future.

This is the best hotel I have stayed in food was excellent and the staff are very friendly and helpful especially Manuel on reception he always has a smile to greet you, the only negative is they could do with some drawers in the room, It is very close to the beach and all the entertainment Cala Bona has to offer we will be back

Lovely quiet hotel. Location near many bars, restaurants and a 10 minute walk to the harbour where you can pick up a boat trip along the coast. Hotel is spotlessly clean. Food is superb. Good variety of hot and cold dishes. Staff from reception, cleaners, waitresses, chefs and the bar are super friendly. Special shout out to Vanessa in the restaurant who always found time for a chat and Christian in the bar who made lovely cocktails. Room was big with comfortable beds. Lacked storage though (no drawers). Wardrobe didn't allow you to put your long dresses in as it had a shelf at the bottom. No storage in bathroom to put your toiletries away even though there was a corner which could have some shelves. Overall a lovely stay and would recommend

Fabulous hotel just minutes from the beach in Cala Bona and only a short walk from the larger town of Cala Millor. Service is excellent and staff couldn't be any friendlier. We even got a complimentary breakfast on for our early checkout on the last day.

Stayed here for 7 nights at the end of October and really enjoyed this hotel. We flew out with Jet2. Transfer from the Airport at Palma was about an hour and a half but it gave plenty of opportunity to take in the scenery of Majorca. The Globales is almost the last drop off but once again the route around Cala Millor and Cala Bona gives chance to get your bearings. Check in was very welcoming, Anna behind the reception desk was very efficient and gave lots of useful information on where to go for everything. We were on all-inclusive and were impressed that the inevitable wrist band also contained a touch pad for the room door lock which was very handy. We had a family room on the ground floor with a balcony overlooking the pool end and gardens. The two rooms were spacious and the beds very comfortable. As others have remarked the only thing missing is some drawers to put personal items in. You have to pay for the safe which we thought was a bit expensive at 30 Euros for the week. Food was excellent and provides for all tastes. Although all self-service it was good quality and nicely presented. Breakfast had a lot of choice between hot and cold food, juices and pastries. We tended to skip lunch in favour of a burger or wrap from the Snack Bar. Evening meal was excellent, especially the desserts. Special mention must be made of the staff in the Restaurant, they were all very attentive and efficient. Star prize goes to Lorraine, who hails from Yorkshire and was a welcome source of useful information! We were happy enough with the all-inclusive drinks although they tended to be less strong than we are used to in the UK. What they lacked in strength they made up for in quantity! The wine served in the restaurant was served from a dispenser tap although of reasonable quality once you got used to it. There are premium drinks and wines available but the price of these is high. One nice touch was that on my Birthday, which they must have noticed from my passport, we had a bottle of Cava on ice waiting for us on returning to our room in the afternoon. The location of the Globales is excellent, just a short walk from the sea front, promenade and beach, and literally over the road from the bus stop. There are numerous Supermarkets quite close by and the Port is only five minutes away with lots of bars and cafés to sit and watch the world go by. The sea front is traffic free although there is a dedicated cycle lane which is quite busy with hire cycles and e-scooters. You can literally walk miles in either direction or just sit and take in the views. We only had one day out and that was to go to the caves at Drach, a 40-minute bus ride from the hotel. If you only do one thing when staying here these caves are a must. The forests of stalactites and stalagmites are quite different from the ones we tend to see in the UK, far thinner and longer and more closely grouped.
