This is an outstanding hotel, they definitely deserve more stars. Never received less than 5* customer service. The rooms are so well air conditioned for the hot summer and fitted out well with all the bits you need. Even provided with a cot free of charge which we've previously paid for elsewhere, it was all set up when we arrived. Stunning views with great local restaurants and really nice to just have a drink around the pool which looks towards the sea. Would definitely visit again. Only very small comment is on the hot days we could smell a bit of a smell coming up the drains but not horrific.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The calm and peaceful atmosphere was exactly what we chose this hotel for. The views when lounging at the pool are spectacular. It is a smaller hotel, which we wanted - no rush to the sunbeds, evening noise, or scramble at the dinner. The service was friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend this hotel and would book again.

Whilst my partner booked a sea view with balcony from the main bedroom we were somewhat disappointed to only have a small balcony off the living area with a limited sea view? The rooms were all stated to have separate individual controllable air conditioning but in reality the system relied on selections from other people linked to the same system and a complaint in the first week we were offered fans if we were too hot so the system was most certainly not individual room controlled as stated This was resolved within the next two weeks as it got warmer and presumably all people were setting their systems to cold! A major problem was the excessive walk to our room from the lift area timed at over two and a quarter mins for each journey which became a significant chore during the day for two 70+ persons Staff who did cleaning and served in the restaurant were efficient and most helpful at all times Food was plentiful but at times was not kept fully hot within the warming pans and you had to wait for new supplies to be brought out, chips, baked beans, scrambled eggs to get hot portions only when these were replenished More specific local specialities would have been appreciated together with more variability in the weekly food selections A major improvement would be a toaster that actually worked efficiently as you had to wait 10mins at the least to get something hot and well toasted as most people just gave up leaving bread to eventually burn off, this was as very disappointing Fresh orange juice would have been a nice gesture together with fresh strawberries considering the island produce available

Couldn't believe our luck with this hotel, it was absolutely brilliant. We've never stayed in a hotel resort before or gone on a jet 2 holiday but it was the cheapest option since we last went abroad in 2018 and we have a three year old now so needed ease and reliability. And this place was perfect. We arrived super late (2am) and at first we were pretty dubious as the jet 2 transfer coach dropped us off on the main rd so initially we couldn't find the hotel entrance down the side street. But that was the only hiccup and had nothing to do with the hotel. We woke up to discover we had the best view from our balcony; a sea view overlooking the back cove. We had room 130 on the ground floor and I'd definitely recommend this room and further down the corridor. We paid extra for an apartment room as there were three of us. We had everything we needed; towels, pool towels, pans, sieve, loads of plates/bowls/etc. The room was cleaned every day by fab housekeepers and new towels were provided if needed. The hotel itself was super chilled and quiet, the pools were gorgeous and we had them pretty much to ourselves most of the time. The other guests were a mix of families, retired people and couples. They do a great mojito at the bar and we only once at their restaurant, which was good. They do food themes every day. And there's a kids clubs some days but we were too busy swimming on the beach to go. Speaking of which to get to the beach you just exit by the pool entrance and walk along the path to the left, the beach is about a 10 minutes walk along a gorgeous coastal path. Really flat, so if you have a pram or wheelchair you'll be fine - although to get to that path there's a few steps from the pool area but there's another entrance around the front so you should be fine. The beach itself is beautiful. Long sandy beach with clear blue sea. The first day we were there it was very windy so not great for little ones as inflatables weren't allowed - there's lifeguards and they taped off dangerous areas. But the rest of the week was brilliant. We always headed further down the beach mainly because we had no choice. Everyday it was busy, jam packed, which usually I'd hate but it was fine and we always found a good spot. We hired a pedalo with a slide twice which I'd recommend. It was 20 euros for an hour and we had the best time. In terms of the area, it was quiet but we liked that. Lots of restaurants, little beach shops selling inflatables, sandals, tourist stuff. Theres a great bar/restaurant/cafe just across the cove our balcony looked over. It's right on the sea and we booked a table one night and had delicious fresh fish and vegetables. I loved that cove and swam in it most mornings. We mainly spent our days swimming in the pool and then the beach. One day we caught a bus to Alcudia, reception was great with help and directions. The bus stop is about 10 mins away, goes once every hour and takes over an hour to get there. It was a nice change. But

First visit to this fantastic hotel. I honestly cannot fault anything about it. From the cleaning of the room big shout out for ( Fina) she was so efficient and friendly every day and was a pleasure to see, to the great bar staff team and a shout out for Karina on the reception. Karina was very knowledgeable and helpful, should we need help with local restaurants and car hire. It’s a smallish hotel, but I like that feel. The views are amazing of the sea. We did pay for a sea view one bedroom apartment, which was fantastic. So easy to get sun beds and that was anytime. I celebrate my birthday and received a lovely card and a bottle of Cava. Such a lovely touch. We will definitely return to this brilliant hotel.

We absolutely loved this hotel! We have a 1 year old and the hotel was perfect with a baby. We got a baby bed and we also asked for a baby chair so we could feed her in our room and that wasn’t a problem. The restaurant was such a highlight, food was just excellent with sooo much choice, especially appreciated having cooks there available to cook you pancakes, eggs whichever way you like or fry fresh fish or meat just as you want. Rooms were regularly cleaned, and staff was just amazing - everyone would take time and interact with our daughter, at the restaurant the waiters would always bring us extra tissues, spoons, they would be so helpful and kind! You can see that the staff are treated well and are happy so they’re not stressed and tense and the atmosphere was nice and kind. Even the hotel manager would take time to say hi and give our daughter and us some attention. We appreciated a lot the pool area, where there’s 2 pools that are baby friendly. The spa was nice too just a shame it closes at 7 pm. We will definitely come back !

The hotel and its staff were perfect. They were everything we could have hoped for on a family hokiday with a 4yr and 2yr old. Manager, receptionist, bar, and cleaning staff were all really helpful and welcoming. A sea view room is definitely worth paying the extra for, as is the food at the hotel. The hotels location is ideal. 5-10 minute walk to cafes, restaurants, bars, supermarkets. 15 minute walk to the beach. 20 minute walk to the marina. The kids loved the kids club and mini disco ran by Gigi. If we head back to Mallorca, we'll be heading back to THB Guya Playa.

We stayed at THB Guya Playa this summer and enjoyed it very much. It is a well maintained, clean and family friendly hotel. Perfect for all the family to enjoy. There are 3 outdoor swimming pools and one indoor pool. A kids club with soft play and crafts keeps children happily entertained, safe and away from the sun thanks to Gigi. The staff is super friendly. There’s also a life guard watching the pools either Josue or Gino. The spa with its indoor pool is great to relax in the shade and enjoy a massage with Noelia or Daniela. Breakfasts buffet is vast and includes many options. As vegans we found many food options and plant based milks. Perhaps a plant based yoghurt and potatoes would be a good addition to the menu. The restaurant and bar staff are super friendly and happy to help. Thank you Luigi and Pedro! The beach is a short walk down the promenade with amazing sea views and lovely sunsets. A great beach to build sand castles, swim or enjoy water sport activities. The rooms are perfect for families with a kitchenette, balcony and lots of storage space. This was our second stay and we would definitely come back again! Vicenta, the Director is always available and happy to go the extra mile to make your stay more enjoyable.

What can I say - holiday at this hotel at Cala Ratjada exceeded our expectations. We stayed for 10 days with 2 children aged 9 and 6 years old. We absolutely loved it and didn’t want to come back home! I researched the hotel and resort before travelling and can honestly say, it’s a perfect choice for a family with kids/babies. We traveled during school holiday and I was expecting it to be crazily busy. However staff is super organised and really friendly, we didn’t feel that it was over crowded or we had to ‘fight’ for a lounge or table at the restaurant. Hotel is pretty modern, very clean and we didn’t have any problems with our room made/towels changed. We had amazing view over the sea and cliffs, however room wasn’t even classed as a sea view room (all sea view tooms were already taken when we booked). If you’re booking in advance, sea view room is really worth extra as they face directly to the sea and sitting on the balcony there with a glass of wine watching a sunset would be amazing. We went half board and it’s really worth it if you have young children. We went out 4 nights and dined at some lovely seafood restaurants, however after some super busy days at the beach it was so handy just to go downstairs for a meal. Breakfast was amazing, with freshly made pancakes (kids favourite:)), pastries, fresh omlettes, selection of cheeses and meats, Costa style coffees etc. Dinner had a different theme each day of the week, buffet style so you could always find something you fancied. Of course, it’s not a sit down meal at an expensive restaurant but food was good and tasty. Plus added bonus - kids mini disco each night which our little girl absolutely loved! I cannot praise the staff enough - they work so hard however you can tell their friendliness is really sincere. Cala Ratjada resort is stunning and being so close to Cala Agulla beach is perfect. We did some day trips but found that this resort is just the best. Cala Ratjada is mostly German holiday resort and we loved it, it felt like having two holiday in one. :) I would had given 6 stars if I could - cannot wait to come back.
