Came here for a wedding and it was luxury at its finest! Everything about this hotel is top notch. The grounds are absolutely stunning, the atmosphere within the rooms, lounge areas, gardens and restaurant is charming. Chef is clearly quite talented and passionate about what he does. Every dish on the tasting menu is beautifully plated, and the flavors are unique, seasonal and very well balanced. Can’t wait to come back for a longer stay!

Booked an overnight though we are almost local so we could enjoy our dinner without worrying about driving home. Well. The taste of hospitality and comfort has left us needing to book a longer getaway so we can experience more than just the food and room. The room was perfect. So comfortable with attention given to each and every detail. The restaurant lived up to it's reputation-had the tasting menu along with the wine pairings. Both were amazing. As tasting menus go they do a great job varying the courses in cuisines and style. Some of the courses were so large I was full by the time the meat course was served but no worries husband was more than happy to help me out with that. The serving staff were excellent in their descriptions and in their demeanor. They added to the experience by giving personal, personality filled service. The somm was also excellent, very enthusiastic and a great story teller. Only teeny tiny complaint was confusion when we went to the bar for a pre dinner cocktail. Apparently part of the bar area is used to serve food but we had no idea. We had headed to the table in the glorious sunroom area and quickly and abruptly shooed away. Awkward. We were not steered somewhere else so to avoid that issue we sat at the bar. It is a busy bar with the bartender making complex cocktails. While I understand she was working very hard to make all the cocktails she didn't really acknowledge us - we love a great bartender fun cocktail experience, all we got was her banging glasses and again awkward sparse interaction. We were served by someone else coming to us on "our side" of the bar. Overall that was awkward and uncomfortable. It could have tainted the whole experience but everything else was so great I would do it all again just maybe avoiding the bar.

My daughter recently held her Canadian Wedding Reception here. Highly Recommend! Absolutely perfect in every way! Special thanks to Julia who was the Wedding Event Coordinator to ensure all was perfect. Excellent venue, food, beverage and staff.

My wife and I are elderly with some mobility issues. We stayed at Langdon Hall for a long weekend and it reminded us of a country estate in southern England of long ago. It is a beautiful property as described in their web site and a table worthy of the Michelin mention fitting for a “Relais et Chateaux”. It is spectacular and the staff members are very friendly knowledgeable and always ready to assist. We took a room in the main house because it had an elevator. Well, it is very old and called a “lift’ that does not have a call button thus when you wish to go from your room on the third floor to the ground floor or vice versa you must call reception for the lift. Our room was very cozy and had all the amenities you would expect as well the best bed we have yet to come across. Good housekeeping with bed turndown in the evening. The food is nothing short of spectacular as well. Each plate is cooked just for you and includes all the fresh elements from the gardens and hothouses. The service is impeccable and we over indulged accordingly. When they suggest reserving a table for a meal we found that reservations were actually required. We took the tour of the gardens and enjoyed it. There is a lovely pool and walking paths covering the huge estate. If you like hiking you will likely enjoy Langdon Hall We are able to highly recommend Langdon Hall and also recommend early booking in order to select the type of accommodation you would prefer keeping in mind the limited number of rooms available.

Langdon Hall was the perfect place for our group of friends. We were a group of 14 and Kate helped perfectly executive our itinerary of activities and meals, along with coordinate all the rooms etc. Everything on-site was incredible - the pool, biking/walking trail, tennis, croquet, wine tasting, games room, yoga, etc...we unfortunately didn't have time to do everything else the property has to offer - could easily do more time there. All staff were extremely helpful and pleasant...shout out to Jose for the wine tasting, Patrick at breakfast, all the staff by the pool and all servers. Will be back!!

Had a fantastic day at Langdon Hall with my daughters over the Canada Day long weekend. For some reason, I had never been to Langdon Hall all these years. Anyways, I can’t say enough – the grounds were immaculate with multiple seating areas both inside and out. The gardens were fantastic. The pool was very well appointed (and yes, I guess I’m old-fashioned but I love the fact that there’s no sitting on the pool edge with open drinks. Just a bit more classy. Especially for families or older people, etc.) Loved the pool attendant service. Tennis courts, the little fire pits lit up at nite, games room inside, access to the spa whirlpool, steam room, etc etc. The cloister king room was fantastic. Customer service above and beyond - thoughtful notes and making sure that our stay was everything we hoped it would be. Enjoyed talking with the chef team. Food presentation was fantastic. Breakfast was top-notch. Snacks at the bar were delicious. I figure there’s no better time to rate/review a place than during one of their most busiest weekends of the year. So if I had to offer constructive criticism, it would simply be that dinner was slow; for housekeeping to automatically make up the cots with the feather bed topping. In this way, they are consistent with their messaging that the same bedding is used and it’s just as comfortable as the bed in the room. Had a fantastic 2nd night’s sleep! ; And last, but not least, please upgrade the complimentary spa slippers. - the cheap plastic flip-flops were not comfortable at all. I’m not sure if I missed it but I think it’s well worth advertising there is a little tunnel that connects the cloister building with the main building in case of rain, etc. I mean it’s like a short 20 steps but still, it’s a lovely option. The following staff stood apart in terms of excellent customer service: Jonathan - front drive/entrance Maddy and Juby at front desk Julia and Andrew - breakfast Tyler - dinner Patrick and Jack - Wilks bar for mocktails Charlotte at the pool We will be back! Thanks, Langdon Hall!

Assya my wife surprise me and took me to one of the finest restaurants in North America. The Executive Jason Bangerter is one of the best in Canada. The food presentation as you can see in the pictures are second to none. Congratulations to the chefs and all the staff for the hard and delicated work. The place was outstanding and the service was five star . They grow their own herbs, vegetables and lettuce in their gardens. The resort is totally five stars .The overall experience was exceptional . I had a great birthday weekend and it’s still going on & on & another party tonight.Cheers “WELL DONE” Chef Jason

Wow. The attention to detail was outstanding. That is what struck us the most about our stay. LH definitely knows how to take care of their guests. Our room felt private, there was quiet and a peaceful atmosphere throughout the accommodations and grounds. The staff were accommodating and responsive (including to those guests who require their bacon not touching their eggs - which we overheard as a request). We had the tasting menu for dinner and dish after dish was full of flavour and textures that were remarkable. We walked the trails, sat by the outdoor pool and received spa services. We stayed at LH in anticipation of having a relaxing and rejuvenating stay, and LH delivered. We are thrilled that LH is a short drive from the GTA
