Rentalmar Costa Verde

This is truly an excellent well located holiday establishment which ticks all the important boxes. The staff are very helpful, welcoming and so accommodating in respect of all their customers needs. Nothing is too much trouble. The apartment are very spacious, please ignore any previous misleading comments. We had a large 2 bed bedroom and an equally large lounge with very comfortable sofa bed. In the lounge was a kitchenette area with everything you require for self catering. In fact to be fact it was better stocked than my personal kitchen at home. A table and 4 chairs are also provided. After all this we still had plenty of room for our extensive wardrobes/suitcases. The balcony is excellent with another table and four chairs and still space. The pool space is well equipped with sufficient furniture and space for clients. But the highlight for us was the outstanding location e.g. just across the road from the beach, bus stops directly outside to Reus, Cambrils, Salou, Tarrsgona and reasonable prices. We had a marvellous week with great weather (26 degrees) and are already planning our return. Restaurant below had just closed for end of season when we arrived. Although we cannot speak for quality of food, we can vouch for cleanliness as we witnessed whole establishment being taken apart, cleaned thoroughly from top to bottom. This operation took 3 days ( in readiness for commencement of holiday season in 2026). Do book, you will not be disappointed and will have a truly memorable experience. Happy holiday.

My partner and I stayed here for 4 nights and had a lovely time. Very close to the beach and a handful of shops and bars near by. As I have lots of allergies, we had to venture to Spar (roughly 20 min walk away) because the closest shops didn’t have much I could eat, so that’s worth keeping in mind if you’re the same as me. But plenty of odds and ends in the shops and lots of cheap booze! The apartment was clean, tidy and had most everything we needed for our stay. All we needed to get was our food really. You could see the sea from our balcony, but not the beach. It was still pretty though:) I believe you can request new towels and a clean up, but it was easy enough to keep the apartment clean and the towels provided were sufficient for the length of our stay to not need them washed. They provided a clothes horse and pegs to dry them between uses and the sun did the job at doing so. It was no hassle taking the rubbish out, and we were happy to do so. The bins outside (slightly down the street) are easy to infer what should go in what bins, took no more than a few minutes. We appreciated there’s a water shortage in Catalonia currently and limited our water use, it’s urged to remember that, but it’s not a requirement to use less water during your stay. For us it was a personal choice made to limit the negative impacts of high tourism on an already stressed destination. The building itself, the pool area was nice, only got a little busy one afternoon but not so much so that you couldn’t find somewhere to sit down. The pool was cold due to the time of year, but I still enjoyed a swim anyway. The bar and restaurant downstairs wasn’t open often, but again we went off season and expected things to be more closed than open. The only thing I could fault was that they seemed a little short staffed. We accidentally left our key in our apartment and had to wait 4 hours for the manager to come back as the reception was unstaffed most of the day. But I appreciate that it’s a family run endeavour, that people have their own lives still, that the working and service culture is different to the UK and that we stayed off-season! (An easily avoidable situation if you’re not as forgetful as I am!) the manager was lovely when she arrived and sorted out the problem in less than a few minutes. Salou and Cambrils are very close to Vilafortuny; a 30/40 minute walk along the beachfront could get you to either, but the Línia 4 Plana bus could get you to either in 5/10 mins. I recommend going further into Vilafortuny to see some lovely architecture. We wanted to go to Old Town in Cambrils but didn’t have time. We did visit Salou, toured some sights and did some shopping. Cap de Salou offers from really spectacular views, but keep in mind it’s a bit of walking up and down steep hills if you struggle with mobility issues. We also visited Parc Municipal De Salou while there. A peaceful spot amongst the hustle and bustle of Salou, and a bit easier to get to if you are

The staff are lovely & very helpful, only downfall was no maid came in to clean & didn't get fresh sheets. Also had to ask for fresh towels, Also had to take out our own rubbish & bought floor cleaner to clean floors The noise of other people & there dogs barking was terrible, beach & bars isn't to far away from the apartments which is great, the restaurant down the stairs wasn't open, as it is end of season

If you are happy with basic and close to the beach these apartments are ok. DO NOT stay here if you like a large pool with seating and area to socialise. This was a last minute booking , family of 4 adults, so you get what you pay for. Honestly the apartment is too small for 4. There is a pull out bed in the living area which we knew but the area is so small it just makes it uncomfortable. The apartment was clean with all the essentials for a self catering holiday. Air con in living area was good and thankfully there was a ceiling fan in the bedroom. (Although I'm not sure the fan would be sufficient in the peak of summer!) Tiny reception area which is only open from 11am to 8pm. We arrived late but they had left a clear message for us on the door to get checked in. Unfortunately we were on the first floor so were unable to use the small balcony due to the smell wafting up from the restaurant. As I mentioned the pool is tiny....the pictures are deceiving. There are 3 sun beds, 3 chairs and a parasol...yes seriously! Bus stop is almost outside the door for Cambrills and a few hundred meters on the opposite side for Salou. If you like to walk, Salou is walkable...about 25mins. The best thing about this place is how close it is to the beach. There are plenty of places to eat and some good supermarkets close by. A couple of days here would be fine but lower you expectations.

I am not an ‘apartment’ holidayer usually but I am glad I chose Costa Verde to do so this time round. What a lovely little find! The staff are exceptional, everyone is so friendly, from staff to guests alike! The beds in the bedroom were incredibly comfortable, the sofa bed not so much, it creaked with every movement but for the children it done for the short break we booked. The apartment had everything you could ask for and you could even log into your own Netflix account, which was great to be able to sit and watch a movie of an evening. Shower pressure great. The whole place is clean, inside and outside areas. Lovely little pool. You are close to the beach, they have a very tasty restaurant downstairs. Literally you could not fault this place! Well done to Costa Verde! We will be back!!!

The apartment was lovely, clean and had everything you needed for self-catering, the bedroom was very clean and spacious, the bathroom was clean the shower was fantastic, the balcony was great size ,with the sun from morning to 5pm which was great, the pool was great clean .the service was great staff were amazing,,the restaurant below was fantastic, food fantastic, the staff were amazing friendly and helpful and polite. Don't have one bad word to say about it . Me and my wife had an fantastic holiday at this apartment shops close by , the beach very close could here the waves .can't wait to stay here next year .would recommend all my friends to stay here .thank you costa Verde apartments for a fantastic holiday

The apartment was situated on the main road in between Cambrils and salou. There were a few bars, restaurants and shops within the immediate vicinity. There is a bus stop opposite but everything is within walking distance. The apartment was clean with enough kitchen equipment including a kettle, toaster, microwave and a hob. One toilet roll was supplied but it was cheap to buy in the shop next door. Hand soap, washing up liquid and a washing up sponge were also supplied. The towels were changed during our 5 night stay. The pool area is small with only three sun loungers but we didn’t have a problem in the short time we spent there as the beach is over the road. The staff were extremely helpful, kind and friendly they allowed us an early check in and a later check out due to our flight times. The restaurant under the apartments serves delicious food and take away pizza. Overall we found the apartment good value for money and would recommend it.

Great budget apartment in perfect location, 2 mins from beach. The apartment included crockery, cutlery, television, refrigerator, microwave, electric kettle, ceiling fan, a air-conditioning unit and a balcony. The pool is small, but clean and more than sufficient for brief lounging and a quick dip!. Very friendly staff.

Couldn't fault it. Lovely clean apartment. All you need in the kitchen (kettle, toaster, microwave, halogen hob, decent pan set, kitchen utensils, cutlery, crockery (including proper mugs). Teatowel and washing up liquid provided. A hairdryer is provided in the apartment. Nice bathroom (toilet, sink and shower cubicle). Towels provided. Free WiFi which is also strong signal. Free air conditioning. Pool compact but really clean. Quiet location. Staff are really nice and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
