Cons: -Rooms seemed clean but smelled terribly musty. -Firm check-in at 3 (not a surprise) and check-out at 10 (was a surprise) makes for a quick turnaround for vacationers. (10:00 checkout was because of off season.) -In spite of repeated assurances via email and over the phone that there would be someone to help get luggage upstairs, upon arrival we were told there was, actually, no help available. We'd chosen upstairs rooms because of advertised extra space and extra natural light but would have been fine with staying in cheaper first floor rooms if we'd known about the lack of assistance. Clear communication about that before arrival would have been great. Pros: -Free parking. -Convenient location. -Nice rooms if it hadn't been for the smell.

This is our second time at the wonderful motel. The rooms & the breakfast are still perfect!! This time we brought another couple & they enjoyed it as much as we did. Thank you so much for a great stay & hope to see you both again! Karin & Jim

Our one-night stay at Towne Motel was a great experience. The hard-working owners were very friendly and helpful, giving us recommendations for our day in Camden. It was only a short walk into downtown, which saved us from trying to park there. The walking path is a bit narrow in places, so probably not handicapped friendly. Communications about the motel after booking, then just before our stay, were much appreciated. Our room was super clean and the motel grounds were immaculate. We loved having the modern touches combined with an old-fashioned motel feel. And the homemade breakfast offerings were all so delicious!

Very nice stay at The Towne Motel. Easy walk to everything Camden. Room was clean and we had no issues. Easy and free parking! Free breakfast which was good and got us started on our day. Visiting with the other guests at breakfast was a bonus.

A warm, welcoming environment. We were made to feel more like locals than visitors and the room was sweet, clean and because we could open windows we had wonderful fresh air.

This motel is a short walk to the town of Camden, which is why I chose it. The accomodations, however, were poor. When opening the door to our room, we were hit with a musty smell. It was hard to get over, each time you came in and out of the room, it was strong. The air conditioner was situated in the sink area, making the sleeping area warm. Turning on the fan helped, however, it made noise all night long. The pillows were foam and very uncomfortable. It was fine for one night, I would not recommend for more than that. We did not go to the continental breakfast the next morning.

The Towne Motel is a simply wonderful place to stay in the midst of Camden. Walking distance from all sorts of interesting adventure. The rooms are very clean and charming. Easy parking, great breakfast and the staff are welcoming and accommodating. A great stay and reasonably priced.
